Location

Masseube is a vibrant bastide town which has retained much of its’ historic buildings and architecture.  On the main street, the traditional 18th century half-timbered houses and covered galleries have been preserved.  From the ramparts of the town, the views of the Pyrénées are fantastic.  This area is a fantastic playground for walking, biking and riding enthusiasts, with over 300km of marked trails in the surrounding countryside.  There is a sports complex with tennis courts, table tennis and pétanque in the town and a golf course nearby.  The rivers Ger and Arrats provide plenty of opportunities to enjoy water-based sports with the Ile d’Ager a particular hub for locals and visitors alike.

Other towns and villages in the area that are well worth exploring might be Auch, Castelnau, Mirande, Tarbes and Boulogne-sur-Gesse.  The airport at Toulouse is 1hr 15 mins away
