Stowey is a great location with beautiful countryside all around but easy access to Bath and Bristol. Within Bishop Sutton there is a post office,two general stores, hairdresser, public house and tennis courts. The neighbouring village of Chew Magna has a good range of local shops including a well-stocked supermarket, family butcher, coffee shop, florist /gift shop, beauty salon, pharmacy and dentist. There are also four public houses nearby, one of which (The Pony and Trap) has been awarded a Michelin star.
