5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
A very convenient location, only a short walk from Guildford train station and a 10-minute walk to the High Street. Situated in a central location yet on a peaceful street, it’s an ideal choice for regular train users and perfect for hosting family and friends visiting from abroad, as London is easily accessible.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management usually respond via email to schedule a time to send someone to have a look and fix the issue.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Reception that receives orders during normal working hours, and very helpful staff.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I like living in Guildford because there are plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and things to do. The transport is very good as trains go into central London in a short space of time. I like the location of the building as it is very close to the train station as well as the centre of town. There was noise from the trains, but this is just something that I got used to, although a little bit annoying. There was no antisocial behaviour and I felt safe in the location. I think Guildford is a really nice area and it is also a nice size.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management were very good, and when I had queries about receiving parcels and deliveries, whilst I was not at home, they were very helpful and clear. When I asked about buying additional furniture and kitchen equipment, they were very clear in what was and wasn’t allowed, and I appreciated their informative nature.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known more about the local area when I moved in, for instance, if there was a map or some information about things to do in the centre. This wouldn’t have been essential, but could have been helpful, especially as I was new to the area and found it quite overwhelming. Alternatively, a group chat with other tenants in my building would have been nice to make new friends and connections.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The Mint is right by the station in the middle of town which us great for transport and going to shops. Though right by the station we rarely hear train or traffic noise due to the thick glass in the windows. There isnt much street parking nearby but the station car park has pretty good rates and is right by the back door.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Our wardrobe rail broke recently and the management was quick to raise the issue with maintenance. There were some admin issues and some time for the piece to be delivered. Other small concerns raised have been quickly dealt with.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The grainger tenancy agreement stated that pets were allowed, but it was not mentioned that pets are not allowed in this specific accommodation. It would have been better to have clarity about that as we planned to look after a pet for a week and had to change plans because we didn’t know this until after moving in.

It’s so great! Close to the station which is absolutely incredibly spectacular. I love the mint. It’s good

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Immediate access to the train station is perfect though the noise can take some getting used to. The town centre is minutes away with everything you’d need
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The lift breaks down a lot and is fixed asap. Haven’t had anything else needed
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Just to be mindful of the noise from the trains, it’ll mean you can’t sleep with the window open
