Description:

1 Northumberland Gardens is a most impressive  end terrace family home.  It offers deceptively spacious accommodation that is unique in layout and which will have to be viewed to be appreciated.  Ideally suited for first time buyers, couples and families, the property is heated by gas central heating and retaining many original features.  The house is accessed via the front door which leads into the entrance vestibule and from there into the beautiful hallway where stairs lead up to the first floor and there are strip floorboards.  The sitting room is towards the front and side elevations, with a large bay window allowing for additional natural light to the front, as well as space, whilst the main focal point is a beautiful red marble fireplace with cast iron tiled inset.  There is a continuation of the strip wood floorboards, corniced ceiling and ceiling rose.  The dining room has a bay window towards the side of the property and opens through to the kitchen, making this a wonderful family space.  It too has a fireplace as its main focal point, this time with a gas inset with timber mantelpiece surround.  There is a built-in storage cupboard to one of the alcoves, which houses the combination boiler and the window to the side is a bay, which allows for additional natural light and space.  There is also a corniced ceiling.  The kitchen area is fitted with base units with black granite work surfaces.  There is a range cooker, plumbing for a dishwasher and doors leading out to the rear paved courtyard and two further windows to the side elevation.  The first floor landing is split level with strip floorboards with access to the loft.  The principal bedroom is towards the front of the property and is a beautiful sized room with dual aspect to front and side elevations.  The window to the front has original French doors, whilst the room has a pretty cast iron fireplace and strip floorboards, corniced ceiling and ceiling rose.  Bedroom 2 is towards the side of the property, also with original French doors out, and this too is a double bedroom.  Finally, is bedroom 3, which is to the front of the property and is an L-shaped room and would make an excellent home office or single bedroom.  The family bathroom has a panel bath with electric shower over, wash basin and WC, with part tiled walls and tiled flooring, and there are two windows towards the rear.

Outside:

Towards the front of the property is as town garden with access to the front door.  This town garden continues to the side elevation, whilst to the rear there is a paved courtyard, which is a great space, especially for outside dining through the summer months.
