Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Located next to the train and bus station. Small amount of noise comes from these overnight and early hours. Parking is paid in the area, we pay for parking at the train station on a monthly basis. A wide range of shops, restaurants and bars are walkable from here, as well as easy transport to Brighton and London. Beach is 20min walk from the building.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quickly and friendly. We’ve always found them easy and pleasant to deal with.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There are so many good local offers and discounts from local businesses for residents. A little more visibility and awareness of these would be great.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area has a large ranges of local shops, coffee shops, small independent bars. There is a small local Tesco extra situated a 3 minute walk away and a large Tesco a 10 minute walk away. There is a small local high street a 5 minute walk away with high street shops (e.g. boots, cafe Nero, nationwide and savers)

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We had a few issues with things within the apartment and building management were very efficient and professional with their responses Joe on Font Of House is extremely helpful and friendly, always has a smile on his face. He is a ray of sunshine in the day. He never fails to make me smile and nothing is ever a chore for him to help with

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish we knew before moving was that the trolleys they have to aid move ins we small (we definitely needed bigger trolleys)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great to be next to hove station, the bust stop next to it and so many places to grab a bit to eat if hungry. There is also a fantastic selection of pubs around which I enjoy greatly.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have not had any problems to raise with management.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I had no idea how kind and caring the staff coukd ever have been before I moved in here.

    Manager's response

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very good area, convenience next to the station and shops. Parking very bad, extremely limited and parking onsite is not affordable.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very slow responses generally, some maintenance issues have not been attended to.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Pigeons are a problem on the balconies. Positive - the events are good.

    Manager's response

Hello Frys, Thank you for your valuable feedback, of which will be shared further with the Team. To address your raised highlights, which are mainly Health & Safety led for the community. All link corridors have to be free of any surplus items due to potential fire hazards. Likewise, we do not permit the use of BBQs due to the potential fire risk within the residential area. In respect of the recent situation with some natural wildlife; it has been highly recommended that any storage pots on private balconies are removed, as these encourage natural wildlife habitat. This has subsequently come under control and was an impact to a minimal area. Due to the limited parking available in the local area, Hove Gardens have 31 appointed, secure underground parking spaces. These are rented at a monthly competitive fee of £175 pm - providing greater security and away from the elements than a public car park. Parking permits otherwise are under the arrangement of Brighton & Hove City Council, of which we are unable to influence. It's great to hear that you are enjoying the community events, and enjoy those spectacular vistas from the sky terraces. Thank you once again for your valuable feedback, and for choosing Hove Gardens as your "Home". Kind regards, Serena

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location is great for Hove train station and the wealth of food, clubs and seaside that Hove has to offer. Parking is pants so be prepared to pay extra…or go car-less!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Incredibly responsive and helpful since we moved in. Yes there have been challenges, but the team eat them for breakfast.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Building does NOT take and store their own furniture if tenants do not want or need, so I am having to pay for extra storage to keep unwanted furniture. Waste of my money! The building should offer an unfurnished or part furnished option.

    Manager's response

Hi P J, Thank you for your valuable feedback; of which will be shared further with the team. It's great to hear that you are loving the location of Hove Gardens, with its close proximity to the train station, bars and shops. Secure, underground parking is competitively priced at £175 pm. of which we have 31 spaces available to lease. To highlight that inventory does comprise of both style of furnished/un-furnihed apartments, however subject to availability. Unfortunately, the property does not have the capacity for storage (I wish we had) :-) It's great to hear that we have been responsive and helpful since your arrival, and thank you for choosing Hove Gardens as your "Home". Kind regards, Serena
