There is also a larger Tesco, an ALDI and a Lidl supermarket within a 10-minute walk. Ocean Terminal (home to a PureGym, Boots, Starbucks, H&M, a cinema, and various other shops) is only 10 minutes away on foot. If you are looking for independent outlets, The Shore, one of Edinburgh's most highly rated areas for quality pubs, bars, restaurants, cafes and shops, is only a 10-minute walk.

There are great public transport connections into the city. Both the Number 7 bus and the Number 14 bus stop less than a minute away, further down Ferry Road. Other buses are available on Great Junction Street and Newhaven Road (all within a 10-minute walk). The nearest tram stop is also only a 12-minute walk. This means that the city centre attractions such as the St James Quarter, George Street and Princes Street can all be reached within 20 minutes by public transport.

The parking is by council permit, but it is worth noting that there is free on-street parking available in the local area.
