Description

Berry & George Estates was set up to make selling and buying your home easier - plain and simple. Unlike most agents, we're available 7 days a week, including out of hours, because that's when people actually need us!

Yes, we do what other estate agents do - we just do it better. Better photos, better descriptions, honest advice, longer hours, and normal, down-to-earth people who treat you like a person, not a number. Our Google reviews say it all.

If you need help with a mortgage, speak to Beth at Love Mortgages, she's Award Winning and voted Mortgage Broker of the Year three years running - and yes, the advice is free. Just Google 'LoveMortgages Mold' and check out the reviews for yourself..

Sat in the very popular location of Holmes Chapel, and close to the centre of the Village with its selection of shops, restaurants, pubs and even a library. It's got great access to the M6 and a train station linking you to Manchester and Crewe.

As we pull up outside, this detached bungalow looks like a picture postcard, I'm pretty sure that if M&S made bungalows, they'd make them like this!

There's a generous area of lawn to the front, distancing it from the road, although it's a really quiet road. There are sections, front and rear of the grass, offering flowerbeds with an assortment of plants.

A driveway runs along the side of the front garden and all the way past the bungalow to the rear detached garage. It has an electric roller shutter door, but before you start thinking about putting a car in it, this was built back in the day, when you could fit a car in the garage! I'd say, in all honesty, unless you have a mini from 1960, your car isn't getting in there.

However, it is a great storage area, or if you wanted to open the side up where the garden is, it will make a great place for the Hot-Tub, bar, pool room or pamper parlour....you decide, it will be your home after all!

The front door is located down the side of the bungalow, set a little bit back in the wall, where it provides some shelter from the elements whilst searching for the keys to get in. It opens to a lovely hallway, kept nice and bright thanks to the glass panels in the gorgeous orange composite door.

Stepping inside, you can instantly tell that this home has had a serious makeover. The quality light wood effect flooring leads to all of the rooms, the sharp, crisp paint job makes you feel like you've walked into a show-home.

If we walk around the home ant-clockwise, the first room that we enter is what I'd call the hub of the home. It's the kitchen / dining / family room, all merged into one, but split into three separate areas.

The first section is the lounge / family room. Capable of taking a large corner sofa that seems so 'en-vogue' today, as well as a couple of armchairs, and other assorted pieces of free standing furniture associated with a space like this. A large window offers lovely views over your front garden and also helps let the natural light flood in.

From here we step into the open-plan kitchen area. There's a gorgeous central island with handy storage cupboards beneath, that also offers a place for some bar stools, so that you can enjoy a quick snack here, or just pay a social visit to the chef while they conjure up some culinary masterpiece. Large worktops run along two walls, with a built-in induction hob, fridge freezer and other useful gadgets. This is a kitchen built to enjoy to the max, before we walk through the square arch (if there is such a thing) into the dining room.

Opened up and added on, this is as good as dining can get. If you're cooking, there's nothing worse than that feeling that you're missing out while your guests are having the time of their lives. Not here, you are as much a part of the fun, it's all open, you can laugh and joke and join in the frolics, while still making those Michelin Star meals.....or opening the takeaway boxes......whichever fits best! Glass panel walls cover three walls and provide uninterrupted views over the rear garden.

If you love entertaining friends and family, then this is the place to do it, and you will become the 'Go-To' home of choice for all festivities; you have been warned.

Back into the entrance hallway, and the next door that we come to is the family bathroom.

Finished to a standard that you would want your bathroom to be; it has everything in here that you'd want and expect. There's a contemporary panelled bath, a 'Norman Bates' (not the real name) shower head, with a hand held shower attachment too, you know, for those harder to reach places. A glass shower screen helps protect the floor from water spillage, and fully tiled walls make for easy cleaning. A stylish floating vanity sink unit offers cleanliness as well as useful storage, with the obligatory WC sitting next to it. A chrome heated towel rail helps to keep the room and towels nice and toasty, with a frosted window finishing the room off, helping to keep the light levels high and keep the prying eyes out.....no, it's not that kind of area before you ask!

Next along we come to the second bedroom. As you'd expect, this is a large double bedroom, capable of taking any large double bed as well as a large double wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables. You get a double aspect in here because a window looks out over the rear garden, and another window and door in another wall opens to the side aspect. Now, the owners kept this door when they changed the accommodation around, just in case you needed a carer to get access directly to the bedroom, you know in year to come. It also helps keep the room nice and bright.

Finally, we come to the main bedroom, which is, as you'd expect, larger than the last bedroom. Again, space for a large double bed of your choice, there is currently a wall of wardrobes, not fitted, but I'm sure open to negotiation if you wanted them, and space for a lot of other free standing furniture. A large window offers views over the front aspect and a fabulous view of the sky at night from your bed...let's just hope Patrick Moore doesn't join you!

Outside and to the rear garden. Again, the garden has had a full makeover as well, with fresh new lawn, railway sleeper borders with flower beds there to either give you joy during the summer months or maintenance free gardening during the winter. A large new fence borders the garden offering complete privacy, and a patio running down one complete side of the bungalow, and width, before running past the garage, the sun room and the last storage shed.

The garage is one that offers a workshop area at the rear, with access to the rear via a door. If you like tinkering, as many of us in our later years do, then this is a place you'll spend hours, and with a large window that offers views and natural light, it's a pleasurable place to spend your time too.

The next outbuilding has two wooden glass panel doors that open to reveal a nice place to sit and unwind at the end of the day. It could be an art studio, a crochet room or even a perfect bar, gym or sauna (with some improvisation).

The last building opens to the ever so useful storage shed, a dry place for all of your garden furniture, lawn mower, and garden equipment.

A pathway runs down the outside of the homes boundary, taking you right into the centre of Holes Chapel and all of the amenities that it has to offer. If driving is becoming an issue, then you couldn't be any better placed than in this home, everything on your doorstep and worry free..
