Description

Recently decorated and upgraded, this family home is available chain-free. Located on a quiet, tree-lined road, close to Enfield Lock station, and around the corner from the shops and facilities on Hertford Road, this house is ideal for a young family.

Open the front door and enter a small porch area where you can leave your coat and shoes. Inside, fresh, dark laminate flooring leads from the hallway throughout the ground floor. The walls are painted white throughout, which contrasts well with the flooring.

The through lounge is a great size and bathed in natural light at both ends. At the front, there is a large bay window, while at the back, there are windows and a glazed door leading into the bright conservatory.

The conservatory is a suntrap all through the day as the garden is south-facing. This room would make the perfect dining room or perhaps a play room, but don't forget the ceiling blinds as it really does catch the sun!

To the side of the lounge is a modern kitchen with floor and wall units, a double oven, and space for a fridge-freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer. A small breakfast bar is a nice addition, and with tall windows into the conservatory, you can sit here for your morning coffee while looking out at the garden.

The last room on the ground floor is the guest cloakroom, this is small but functional and with a very cute wash-hand basin.

Soft, deep pile, grey carpet covers the stairs, landing and main bedroom. This bedroom is at the front of the house and has a large bay window so again gets a good level of natural light. A large tree is growing outside on the pavement. This gives some additional privacy and gives a striking dash of colour to an otherwise very calm room.

Bedroom two is at the back of the house and is a good-sized double, while bedroom three is a single, perfect for a small child or as a home office.

The family bathroom is somewhere to stay for a while. The jacuzzi bath is the central feature, with integrated jets, coloured lights, and a built-in radio and speaker system. It also has a handheld shower head (a real benefit if you have young children) and an overhead waterfall shower. There's no need for a shower screen as this room is designed as a wet-room, and so any water that hits the floor will just flow away.

There is a full-size loft above, which has been insulated and boarded, and was previously used as a dedicated Scalextric room.

To the front is a driveway with space for two cars, and to the side is a secured, covered walkway (very useful if you want to dry clothes outside).

The back garden is fully enclosed with a patio area, paved path and lawn. At the back is a double garage which can be accessed by a secure private road (somewhat overgrown).

This is a very family-friendly area, with long-term residents, good schools locally including Key Meadows Primary School and Oasis Academy, shops and other facilities close by on Hertford Road, and just a short walk to Enfield Lock train station for quick access to the city.

Available chain free.

About Belvoir, Enfield

Nicon House, 45 Silver Street, Enfield, EN1 3EF

Hello,

Welcome to Belvoir Enfield. I'm Rachel Circus (Owner and director of Belvoir Enfield) and this is me with my team - Kaz, Mel and Catherine.

We love properties - large or small, houses or flats. But our speciality is 'unique' homes, homes that have a story to tell, and a character and personality all of their own.

With our bespoke marketing we make sure that everything that makes your home different from the house next door, is captured and communicated to potential buyers in a language that will entice!

Tell us what makes your home special and we'll do the rest.

All it takes is an hour of your time and a cup of coffee, and then we'll let you know how our strategy can help you sell your home and move on to your next chapter.

Not ready to move now?

Not everyone is, but if you've landed on this page (and read this far) then maybe subconsciously.........

It can't hurt to know what your home is worth, and if it really is unique, you won't be able to work that out from the cost per square meter!

For a no strings attached conversation about your home, your future plans, and how we can help you move forward, let's have a chat and a coffee.
