Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is convenient and safe, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and transport links. The street is generally quiet with good parking availability and no major problems. Overall, it feels comfortable and welcoming.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management team responded promptly and effectively to any issues I raised. They were polite, efficient, and made sure that everything was resolved in a reasonable time. Their customer service was excellent.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The process can take a little bit of time during the move-in stage, which is normal, but everything else is smooth and well-organised. Knowing this beforehand would have reassured me that delays are only temporary.

    Manager's response

Thanks Yousef, for sharing your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that your move-in went smoothly and that our team were able to assist you. It’s great to know you’re enjoying your home and the local area. We appreciate your kind words and look forward to continuing to provide a supportive and well-managed environment for all our residents.

    Sept 2025

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area has been a real highlight of living here. There’s a great range of shops, restaurants, and cafés within walking distance, as well as plenty of green spaces to enjoy. Transport links are very convenient with reliable buses and train connections nearby, making it easy to get around. The street itself feels safe and well-maintained, with regular bin collections, but parking is a bit challenging. It’s a lively but friendly neighbourhood, with a welcoming community atmosphere.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management have always been quick to respond and very helpful. Any problems I’ve raised were sorted out fast and without any hassle.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known just how friendly and supportive the staff and management are here. It really makes a big difference day to day and makes the place feel more like a community than just a building.

    Manager's response

Thank you, Diego, for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying your home, the facilities, and the local area. It’s especially rewarding to know our team has made a positive difference for you. We truly value creating a welcoming community where residents feel supported and will continue working hard to ensure your living experience continues to be a great one!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I've lived in Reading my whole life and to be honest although the buildings and restaurants etc are improving the anti social people element is increasing. Just so many anti social people around who have no respect for other people or the environment.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, very quickly and politely. The maintenance team are brilliant, especially Peter who is excellent.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The walk into the town centre isn't the best. Lots of anti social elements unfortunately.

    Manager's response

Thank you for taking the time to share your review, Mike. It’s great to hear you feel safe and well supported by the team. We’re glad you’re pleased with the cleanliness and as excited as we are about the upcoming opening of our larger underground car park. Your feedback is very helpful to us, and we’re happy to have you as part of our community!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This place is in one of the most convenient location in reading RG1. Just few mins walk from the local shops and the lovely town center. You name it you get it. Another advantage is in very close proximity to the reading train station.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I lived in domain for 3 years and have very good experience and memories with all the friendly and progression team of building management. Georgi leads the unit and he is one of the best managers i have seen who would care and react quickly to the problem.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If you love sun light the pls inspect the direction of flat properly.

    Manager's response

Thank you for sharing your experience, Surjit. We're glad to hear you found Domain to be a comfortable, well-located place to live with great facilities. It’s wonderful to know the building management team made a positive difference during your time here. We’re really pleased Domain felt like home for you over the past three years. We wish you all the best for the future.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great Transport Links: Fast trains to London and easy access to the M4 make commuting convenient . Vibrant Town Centre: Plenty of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. Good Schools: Highly rated primary and secondary schools, including Kendrick and Reading School. Green Spaces: Parks like Forbury Gardens and Prospect Park offer great outdoor options for families High Cost of Living: Housing and general expenses can be steep compared to nearby towns. Congestion & Crowds: The town centre can get busy, especially during peak hours. School Admission Pressure: Competition for top schools is intense, with tight catchment areas

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

24-hour on-site team is responsive and helpful, contributing to a sense of security and support. The presence of a concierge and regular resident events adds to the overall positive experience

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving into Domain Apartments is how busy the communal areas can get during peak hours. While the amenities like the gym and lounge are fantastic, they can sometimes feel overcrowded, especially in the evenings. Also, the bin store area could be better maintained—something you wouldn’t notice during a typical viewing. My tip for new neighbours: get to know the building management team early on—they’re helpful, and having a good rapport with them can make a big difference when you need support

    Manager's response

Thank you, Sakthivel, for taking the time to leave us a review. We're pleased to hear you've had such a positive experience overall and that the team has been supportive. We appreciate your feedback on the communal areas and bin store, our cleaning team is on-site daily and works hard to keep these spaces well-maintained. In addition, our site management team has recently introduced new policies, which are being actively implemented to help reduce noise and ensure a more comfortable environment for all residents. It's great to know the location and services have worked well for you. Thanks for being a valued member of our community.
