    Living at Silver Yard has honestly been a great experience! The location is super convenient with loads of shops, cafés, and restaurants around, plus Bullring and the city centre are just a short walk away. Transport links are really good too, with bus stops and the train station close by. Big shout-out to the management team and especially Sarah and her team, they’ve always been so helpful, kind, and quick to sort out any issues. Thanks to them, Silver Yard really feels like home!

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    The building management has always been super responsive and helpful. Whenever I’ve raised an issue, they’ve handled it quickly and professionally. Sarah and Lewis especially have been amazing always kind, understanding, and easy to reach. It’s great to know that any problem gets sorted without delay, which really makes living at Silver Yard worry-free.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that Silver Yard isn’t pet-friendly. It’s such a nice place to live, and having the option to keep small pets would make it even better. Everything else about the building, from the design to the management team, has been great , so if they ever make it pet-friendly, it would honestly be perfect!

    Located Right next to the buses 5mins walk to moor street station 10mins walk to new street station Restaurants, shops cafés all located within a 5min radius. It’s a prime location!

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    Yes, the building has indeed responded promptly to issues raised. Not that there are many issues I have had to raise.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    Wish I had known about how much of a nightmare it is to drive around that area, the one way system and the bus lanes make accessing parking like a maze.

    Area where The Silver Yard is situated is very good and at the City Centre. It is close to railway stations and bus stops.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    Building management did not pick up the call and the call was forwarded to voicemail (not sure why)?

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    No material bad experience. We did not know about shower spray settings and process for setting water heater.

    great because it has a coop, starbucks, greggs and mcdonald’s within 30 second walk. Bad because council tax is high

    they were slow after we had stated on the app but after we went to reception they sorted it

    i didn’t realise how high council tax would be before i moved in

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    The building is within walking distance of the centre of town and Birmingham new street station. There are loads of restaurants, shops and transport services. There is a big car park down the street for those who can’t get a space underneath the building. This big car park is run by the council and you can get a year pass for similar to the price of the building parking space.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    We can message reception on the my Grainger app and they respond quickly.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    There is nothing hidden that came as a surprise. You think it would be very noisy being in the town centre but the windows are really good at soundproofing. If you open the windows when it’s hot though it can be quite loud because of the traffic.
