- Neptune Wharf, SE8Oct 2025 Reviewer was offered an incentive for an honest review, regardless of rating Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area: As the development begins to take shape, we’re really enjoying the development and all it has to offer. The apartment is well designed, maintained and the team here are excellent. They have been accommodating to ensure residents feel at home in their new home and a shout out to Tom who has been so helpful. We’ve been here now since the opening and look forward to seeing the communal spaces to be fully functional. How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised: Promptly - any minor teething issues were handled well. Any issues addressed Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in: Timeline for when the communal areas would be up and running - however, appreciate these were a work in progress with it being a new development would always take a bit of time to be running. Manager's response4Thank you so much Justin for your review. We particularly appreciate your kind words about Thomas and your comments about our team's efficiency. We are grateful for your patience whilst we completed the communal spaces and we hope you'll agree that it was worth the wait! - Neptune Wharf, SE8Oct 2025 Reviewer was offered an incentive for an honest review, regardless of rating Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area: Great green space, Vietnamese restaurants, and African/Caribbean corner shops make up the bulk of the local shops. Good range of independent stores dotted in between. It's good that the park closes now, as the parties that have now moved outside the school were the only complaint, as they were held late at night, and they made the park messy in the morning. How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised: They have been great, one of the best things about moving here has been the quick response and genuine interest in accomindating the needs of the tenets Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in: The Zipcar voucher was great! That made moving significantly cheaper than hiring a man with a van. Manager's response5Thank you for your kind review, we're really pleased to hear how happy you are here at Neptune Wharf and appreciate all your comments. - Neptune Wharf, SE8Verified resident HomeViews has verified the reviewer as a resident of this development. Oct 2025 Reviewer was offered an incentive for an honest review, regardless of rating Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area: There are a good number of shops nearby such as the Lidl and now opened Asda Express. In terms of transport links, the location of the building is quite a walk away from the nearest train station but there is a lime bike parking space at the front so there is this option to get to the station quicker. In the beginning there was an issue with the bin collection as most of the bins were filled and it seemed like the collection was not done regularly but now it has improved. I've had no issues with anti-social behaviour, and the traffic/train noise is only noticeable when the windows are open and even when they are it is not a big issue as this is something that was taken into account at first viewing. How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised: Any repair requests or issues we bring up to the building management are resolved fairly quickly and properly. Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in: One thing I didn't know before moving is how thin the walls are in the flat and from flat to flat as sounds can travel very easily, this is because we've had a few complaints from other tenants that they can feel the vibration from our subwoofer in the living room. Manager's response4Thank you for your review Rigel! We are pleased to read your comments relating to building management and we appreciate your feedback on the improvements that could be made in relation to the design of your apartment. We hope you continue to enjoy living at Neptune Wharf - we love having you as part of our community here. - Neptune Wharf, SE8Verified resident HomeViews has verified the reviewer as a resident of this development. Oct 2025 Reviewer was offered an incentive for an honest review, regardless of rating Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area: I love this location so much, as a Goldsmiths university student, it's perfect for me. I can take the 225 to class or a more scenic path down the park which is only 14 minutes. The Lidls location is also great as it's only a 15-20 minute walk. Having the apartment in front of the park is also amazing for our mental health. Overall 10/10 location. I do wish there was a conveinent store right next to us. How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised: Very helpful as they're ready to help and fix any issues raised. Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in: Im happy I moved here and we chose this location I do not regret it. But I think one negative thing would be how infrequent the 225 is. Our only issue is the bus times and having to just walk to uni. Manager's response5Thank you Tia for your kind review! It's wonderful to read your comments on the design and aesthetic of both your apartment and The Club, and we are pleased that our recent change in opening hours has been beneficial to you. Your comments on the location are great to hear, and you'll be pleased to know that we will soon have an on-site convenience store which is opening in the coming months! Thanks for being part of our community Tia, it's great to have you here.
