Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I absolutely loved living in Hawkins Lane Building for 4.5 years. Beyond the fantastic location and great building, the team themselves made it such a safe, well-managed, loving, and lovely place. I'll especially miss Craig, Lana, and Sarah- they've been so kind to me and often went out of their way to support me.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building Management have always attended to all my queries and any issues I've raised. In fact, even when it's been issues that are more personal (such as when I lost my mum and informed them) they all did everything they could- within their capacity- to offer words, actions, and behaviours of comfort and solidarity. I sincerely wish each and everyone of them the same kindness they've shown me over the years.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I feel like I was given adequate information before I moved in, and can't think of anything else to add.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local shops, like tesco express are very expensive and have little variety of products and lack of products at certain times. At lunch time there is always a queue that goes out the establishment into the street. The shops in walking distance are for groceries tesco express, Sainsbury's local and coop. The restaurants have quality food and drink but are so expensive that most people use takeaway. The minimum price for indoor is 35 pounds per person per meal. The cafés and bars are good in the sense that they are very popular and serve a great range of beverages. The open space is Castle park, however is to be a construction site soon as a consultation from Bristol Council is ongoing for a new offices and flats development . As for transport links we have temple meads station with direct link to London, however train tickets are increasingly expensive. Own transport like a car have to pay for clean air tax, the parking is not free and there is no access for cars or vans to the site unless previously requested and access granted. By bicycle, the path is segregated but cyclists go in and out of it in such a way that is a barrier to the disabled or elderly people. The council does bin collections but residents and external people do not recycle properly and place garbage outside the bins. There is a lot of noise due to heavy traffic at rush hour, constant construction works, and eco between the walls of the buildings. There is a lot of anti-social behaviour like drugs, prostitution and networks hacking.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Most times ignored or send an useless contractor to the flat. As a matter of fact every week there is one coming with the management master key.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i knew how difficult it would be to move out.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Really close to Cabot circus which is great for a quick shopping trip on lunch break. 10 min walk to Train station with good links towards Bath and Cheltenham. Can be slightly noisy at night with Left handed giant but only with windows open

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes any issues are sorted within a week. Handyman only comes on Thursdays so usually sorted that day of the week

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Lack of kitchen storage can be an issue, at first glance looks a lot but one cupboard is the dishwasher and other is under the sink with not much room. The fridge/freezer is also disguised as a cupboard making it look like there is more storage than there is

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living on here has its perks. The range and quality of local shops, restaurants, and bars are impressive, with a good mix of high-end and affordable options (for being in the city centre). There's a nice coffee shop nearby that I frequent almost daily. The open spaces, like the nearby Castle Park, are well-maintained and perfect for a leisurely stroll or a weekend picnic. Bin collections are reliable, and I haven't experienced any issues with anti-social behaviour. Traffic noise is minimal, making it a peaceful place to live overall.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management has been prompt and efficient in addressing any problems I've raised, always helpful.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I'd known about the occasional late-night noise from the nearby restaurant, which isn't noticeable during viewings. Apart from that, pretty peaceful

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Extremely convenient location (< 10 minutes to bars, restaurants, pubs, shops, parks...) you can't be in a more prime spot! Temple Meads is about a 10 minute walk away and nearby bus stops which have great links into Bath, and further out neighbourhoods of Bristol. Anything you need in the centre, you can 100% walk there - not a problem! The area is on the whole a very tame. quiet place to live as during the week it is predominately workers who are pacing (as you are situated very near the financial/TV/banking offices). However, occasionally on the weekends you get hen & stag do's passing through to get to the centre from the local hotels and train station. These can be quite disruptive! Bin collections are always done well & on time, zero traffic noise as it's a pedestrianised area, and parking availability is discussed with the development as it is underground! All in all love living here!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always quickly, kindly and informatively! Never had a problem at raising any issues regarding my property. There has been a bit of miscommunication and radio-silence from the wider Grainger team when moving out though.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A lot of people keep themselves to themselves - wish there was more opportunity, lead by the property management, to create a Whatsapp group where people can chit-chat and form friendships! Sometimes in-person parties can be quite intimidating to some OR people don't go.
