Discover the bespoke designs of each room in the Casa des Los Arcos: individually-designed rooms, room for discussions or small working groups in the adjoining lounges, as well as a large meeting room, which can also be used for seminars with up to 20 people.

The picturesque inner courtyard and the terrace with a fountain invite you to calm down and let your dreams and aspirations come true.

A special highlight: our own small but fine wine cellar. It offers a selection of special wines: all of them are a personal recommendation of the owner of the house. Enjoy our wine selection in the picturesque inner courtyard or, if you come during the cold season, by the fireplace.

They offer the guests an eventful stay with comfort and delights of local regional cuisine. Therefore, the day in Casa de Los Arcos begins with a homemade breakfast.

In order to preserve and make an economic contribution to the gastronomic diversity and the authentic way of life in Vélez Blanco, we have no traditional bar and restaurant besides our breakfast.

Nevertheless, a wide selection of drinks such as coffee, tea, wine, champagne and soft drinks is available at all times and you pay when you check out.

Rooms of the Casa are as individual as their guests. All 14 rooms and suites have their own bespoke, designed character.

All the rooms are spacious, one feels like at home right away because of the affectionate organization each room has, with an individual, unique and personal atmosphere.

Inspiration is guaranteed by the collection of artworks of artists Kilo Chmielorz, Karl Möllers and the local painter Pepe Ros - artist personalities who have a close connection to the house and the region.

Where almonds and corn used to be stored, there is a double room and four suites now.

First floor suites- have their own lounges in addition to the bedrooms, offering pure relaxation spaces for their clients.

On the ground floor the guests have various options for their stay: a lounge with a warming fireplace, the breakfast area in the arched gallery and the bar with adjoining reception.

Around the centrally-located lounge, there are five double rooms overlooking the surrounding valleys-the views are quite spectacular.

The enchanting small inner courtyard in the basement is a true oasis and offers an additional place for relax and is linked with the adjoining rooms.

In addition to two double rooms, a deluxe room and a suite, there is a shared living area with comfortable seats and a spacious dining table.

Each room is equipped with W-LAN and TV, hairdryer and heating.

Drinks are offered to guests in the reception room at fair prices.

There are lounge areas - possibility of offering wellness, artisan retreats.

The open lounges are designed to extend the space for guests in the adjacent suites.

Groups of three or more rooms can have lounges for their exclusive use at no additional cost.

Conference/Seminar room

In this part of the Casa de Los Arcos, there used to be the stables. It has been converted into a pleasant seminar room with access to the terrace. The hotel would make a stunning location to hold company conferences and seminars.

Channel 4, Sun, Sea And Selling Houses - Has made the Garners of Spanish Property Choice a household name. Garner-ing TV Heaven!

Business is booming for this top Almerian real estate agency following regular appearances on the very successful UK Channel 4 property show. Spanish Property Choice run by the Garner family from Birmingham for the past 14 years, is one of only two family run businesses featured in the popular Channel 4 series, Sun, Sea and Selling Houses. Series 1 consisted of 20, hour-long episodes that followed the day-to-day business of this agency selling dream Spanish properties to British investors. It also chronicled their family adventures along the way. And it seems Mum Sharon, Dad Steve, daughter Emma, son Shaun and son-in-law Matt have made quite an impression on the viewers following their trials and tribulations.

But the firmly established agency has also seen a big demand from those seeking properties in the sun. So much so, their Facebook page has been swamped with messages, followers and enquiries causing a few late nights in the Garner family household. Sharon takes up the story: “It was a great pleasure to be asked to take part in the series, and we're all absolutely amazed by the response. We've actually had a few sleepless nights just trying to keep up with the enquiries. We now have clients all over the world watching the show and contacting us to help them find their dream home in Spain. Business has always been good, but this extra exposure has really fired things up. We hoped it would go well but this has all been well above our expectations. We agreed to do the show because we wanted people to know there are good estate agents out there, who do care about their clients and that we are not all sharks just after a commission, I believe by the response that we have had since going to air, we have achieved that”.

So what's been the secret of this family’s success? Steve told us: “I think viewers and prospective buyers have seen just how honest we all are. We've just got on with things and been ourselves throughout the filming. Our family and staff are all passionate about delivering a first class service and helping people to fulfill their dreams along the way. When we recommend a property, it's almost as if we are thinking of buying it ourselves. Shaun added: “I think viewers have identified strongly with the family feel of the series. They can see it´s lighthearted and we are all genuine people who have just the same ambitions and dreams as them. The show was such an amazing success with the public and people looking for a new life or investment in sunny Spain, that Channel 4 offered them a second series, which they completed filming in December 2017, a further 25 x 1 hour episodes of Sun Sea and Selling Houses due to air around March 2018.

When Stephen and Sharon moved to this beautiful province of Costa Almeria, their original intention was to semi retire and never once imagined that one day they would be a household name. Their son Shaun attended a Spanish public school, and Emma found employment initially for a Spanish recreational company. However after a very short period of time, Stephen and Sharon were head hunted by a Spanish Property Developer in Olula del Río, who saw potential in the historical experience they both had to offer. Consequently they opened their first office predominantly selling old farmhouses; cave houses and traditional Spanish village houses. The rest as they say, is history.
