We already lived in Hove so knew the local area already. We stayed at Moda while our house was being renovated. Its a great place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Our hot tap stopped working and this was fixed swiftly. We had another issue which was quickly sorted, the staff were friendly and kind.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Just do the admin properly. Read what you are sent. We nearly didn't have the rent in place in time due to error and nearly missed our move date so be organised!

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Honestly, I doubt I want homeownership anymore considering the level of ease Moda offers. The only two niggles I have are - Probably needs a better system for parcels. Maybe a bigger space and someone focused on the job rather than another task for the lovely people at the reception. - I'd love for our intercom in block 1 to be working as I keep missing grocery/takeaway deliveries due to the fact I have a four year old son whom I can't leave alone upstairs to open the door. It's hard logistically to not be able to allow people in the building via intercom and having to go downstairs to manually let them in.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Promptly, kindly. I haven't had any major issues but the team communicates very well

That living in a home could feel so easy and relaxing when a lot of the tenant admin is handled by the landlord eg bills

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The immediate vicinity there isn't much but there are a bunch of convenient retail parks that will cover furniture, clothes and groceries. A 15 minute walk will take you to the really nice parts of Hove, a string of wine bars, pubs and coffee shop that run toward Brighton. You can pay for parking, the area feels safe and no problems with bins etc.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very responsive and attentive. Turnaround time has been a day for small repeairs.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Apparently flats can get hot during the summer. Not a deal breaker really as most flats tend to anyway. Depends what side of the building you're on.

The site is well connected and has many great shops near by. The Hove highstreet and main restaurants are only about 10min walk away and the seafront can be reached in 15-20 min walk. I enjoy the peaceful location and great parks nearby.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any requests dealt without delay. Nothing is ever too much and the team always completes all jobs with a smile.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I would have known what a great community spirit exists already at Moda. Everyone I have met so far are welcoming and friendly!

There is a big Waitrose and Lidl really close by and give park for dog walks, which is convenient and great. And it has its own 3x bus stop for quick travel around
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very prompt, maintenance we’re in touch the same day when I had an issue and it was fixed straight away

Fan sound round the back of the building, but I am used to this now
