5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in Houlton has been a very positive experience overall. The area is peaceful, family-friendly, and feels exceptionally safe. There are plenty of green open spaces, such as parks and walking paths, which are perfect for children and outdoor activities. The community is warm and supportive, and neighbours are generally polite and considerate. Shops and supermarkets are a short drive away, and transport access to Rugby town centre is convenient. Bin collections are always on schedule, and the environment is kept very clean. Parking is easy and there is very little noise at night. I have personally never experienced anti-social behaviour in the area. Overall, Houlton is a wonderful neighbourhood for families, with a comfortable and peaceful living environment.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management responded quickly and professionally to every issue I reported. Aydin and Ora always ensured that repairs, checks, and follow-ups were handled without delay. Their timely communication and willingness to help made every problem easy to resolve. They were always responsive, caring, and efficient. Their professionalism and kindness are the main reasons my stay was so positive.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
wish I had known earlier how supportive and responsive the management team was — especially Aydin and Ora. It would have made me feel even more confident when moving in.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The property is in a quiet, residential neighbourhood with easy access to the train station. There’s also lots of parking available.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
There is a property manager you can always reach out to for issues. The property manager reaches out to the service providers who then come for the fix. I have had most of my complaints resolved quickly with the exception of my electric hob which took a grueling 5 weeks for the manufacturer to replace. That was hell
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
None. It’s my second time renting but so far this might just beat my previous apartment where I lived for several years.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Transport links good, locals shops ok, but larger stores restaurants or pubs you will need a car. Quiet street, parking available with each home.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Responsive and helpful, always endeavoured to resolve
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Be prepared to be fleeced at tenancy renewal time. Carrots will be dangled to draw you in for the first year tenancy, only to be unreasonably hiked up thereafter.
Manager's response4Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the home lovely and that our property management team were responsive in resolving the early maintenance issues. We’re sorry to learn that you were disappointed by the proposed rent increase at renewal. Rental reviews are always based on a number of factors, including local market conditions and comparable properties, but we fully appreciate that any increase can be frustrating. Our aim is to balance maintaining properties to a high standard with keeping rents competitive and reasonable. If you’d like to discuss your specific renewal directly, please feel free to contact me on maryam.bham@allsop-lm.co.uk - I’m always happy to talk things through. Thank you again for your comments; your feedback helps us improve both our service and communication with residents.
