At the hamlet of La Boucherie in the Vallée de la Manche area of Morzine, an area known for its beautiful mountain scenery, popular with ski touring enthusiasts in winter and walkers in summer. There is a well known off-piste itinerary that descends from the Fornet lift at 2225m down to the Erigné bus stop at 1186m. The free ski bus runs up and down the valley from the centre of Morzine.
The Nyon ski lift is 750m away and gives easy access to the Morzine/Les Gets ski area.
In winter the riverside path is a nordic skiing piste and in summer a beautiful walking area that includes the impressive Nyon waterfall.
The chalet is situated just 2km from the mayors office in the centre of Morzine.
With new windows and doors through out, plus a recently refurbished roof, the chalet has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, two of which are ensuite. An attractive living area and kitchen/diner open out on to a balcony terrace with excellent views and steps that descend to a garden. There is another terrace to the side of the house that would be perfect for a hot tub or exterior sauna.
Exterior steps go down to a spacious double garage and large cellar for storage, while there are two cellars under the house, one for storage and another housing the fuel central heating system.
There are also two exterior parking spaces at road level.
