Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Unfortunately crime rates are on the rise in the area and over the last year there has been a large increase of successful/attempted break ins on resident’s cars when parked on street. The bike shed was recently broken into and someone was able to walk in to the reception and stole parcels that had been delivered on the day that reception is unmanned. Shops, bars and restaurants are within walking distance along with the city centre and the train station. Downsides are that there is limited on street parking and heavy traffic in the area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have not personally raised any issues so can’t comment.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing comes to mind that I can comment on for this.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It is a lively area with plenty of options for restaurants, bars, supermarkets and local shops. There is plenty of parking and the area is very safe

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always quick responses and they make sure to solve any problems timely

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I guess I am not a fan of the pet terrace, which is sometimes loud

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Nice shops and restaurants nearby and easy access to the Peak District. Sometimes a struggle to find parking.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management is always very responsive to any issues raised.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would be good for new tenants to understand how many people living here have pets, just in case they have allergies or phobias (doesn't apply to me but might be useful)

great area! Waitrose, Aldi, budgets, m and s and Tesco are all very close. it's close to botanical gardens for a nice walk, and other gardens close by. it's very close to city centre and easy to walk

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

issues are responded too in a timely fashion, depending on level of urgency

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

rising crime in the eccelsall road area, sometimes at night you do have to be careful, and I noticed some strange figures lurking around the building

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We are just about to start our 3rd year here - and this is the second time we’ve lived here. We love the place; the location is perfect with easy access to the City Centre by foot, M&S Food, Waitrose, Aldi and Tesco are all within a few minutes walk as well as the vibrant Ecclesall Road and Sharrow Vale Road. So there’s no need for a car and there are numerous bus services including the Bakewell bus which is one minute away, taking you straight out to the Peak District. If you own a car there is some free parking on the streets around the building and some other paid options just a few minutes away. There’s also a secure garage below the flats but spaces there come at a price.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We haven’t had any real problems. The only minor issue I recollect was the plastic strip at the bottom of the glass shower door had perished and split - we reported it to reception and it was dealt with in just a few days.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The building is pet-friendly; I enjoy meeting owners dogs in the lift but there could be noise or mess issues if you live next door to some animals. I don’t think there are issues but it could be worth asking before you take a flat.
