The Cider Barn is located in the small hamlet of Lottisham which is close to the sought after village of Baltonsborough. The village is well known locally for its excellent summer fair.
Other nearby schools include Millfield Senior and Prep Schools, both within about 15 minutes' drive, King's School Bruton, Wells Cathedral School, Downside, All Hallows, St Dunstans School Glastonbury, Strode Sixth Form College in Street, Sexey’s School Bruton (state boarding), Ansford School at Castle Cary and Wells Blue School.
The Cider Barn also has easy access to Street and Glastonbury with its independent shops and chain stores, supermarkets, doctors surgeries, dentists and a minor injuries hospital. Plus in Street there is the renown Clarks Village outlet.
Glastonbury 5 miles, Street 6 miles, Castle Cary 5 miles with a mainline rail service and Yeovil 13 miles. The A303 is 8 miles. The mainline rail service from Castle Cary to London Paddington takes 1 hour 40 minutes. The train from Templecombe station (30 minute drive) take 2 hours to reach London Waterloo.
