The larger Towns of Barnstaple and Bideford (as well as the North Devon Coast) are approximately 25 minutes` drive away. The City of Exeter is 45 minutes` drive, approximately. From Torrington proceed in a southerly direction on the A386 signposted Hatherleigh/Okehampton and at the bottom of the hill turn left onto the A3124 signposted Winkleigh/Exeter. Continue for approximately 10 miles and after passing Dolton Beacon Garage on your left hand side, turn left onto the B3127 signposted High Bickington, after a short distance turn right signposted Riddlecombe, where you will eventually find a T-junction, turn left signposted Cottwood and after a sharp right hand bend you will see a bridle track, follow this track passing a red postbox on your left hand side and you will then find The Dell shortly after on your right hand side.
