Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very close to the city center and walkable distance to nearby shops. No Indian shops nearby and gym is also atleast 20 minutes walk. Transport facilities are closeby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly and resolved the issue immediately. The approach is always friendly

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish the gym was built. Also i should have researched if i had more options for grocery shopping except Sainsbury and Tesco

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Everything on my door step, two supermarkets and a few options for corner shops which stays open late at night which is convenient. Metrolink and tram services within 5/10 mins walk, endless amounts of bars within walking distance. I couldn’t really give a bad comment about the area

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

As mentioned above very quickly and transparent with issues

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

About the booking system to book out the cinema room etc, however my flat mate who moved in before me informed me of this shortly after I moved in

    The Junction, LS12

    The Junction, LS12

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area has a great mix of convenience and community charm. The high street has a fantastic selection of independent cafes, a well-stocked grocery store, and a cozy pub that hosts local events—perfect for grabbing essentials or socializing.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The landlord is unresponsive and slow to address critical issues—requests for repairs (like a broken boiler in winter) took over three weeks to resolve, and they often ignore email follow-ups. They also increased the rent by 15% with only one month’s notice, which felt unfair and unplanned for. Communication is limited to formal letters, with no willingness to discuss flexible terms or minor adjustments to the lease.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known about the constant construction work in the adjacent block of the development—it started two months after I moved in and has lasted over a year, with drilling and hammering starting at 7 a.m. on weekdays and even some weekends, making it impossible to work from home or sleep in. I also had no idea how inadequate the sound insulation is between apartments: I can hear my neighbours’ conversations, TV, and even footsteps clearly, which has made privacy non-existent. Additionally, the “24/7 security” advertised is just a part-time concierge who’s only present during office hours, and the parcel room is frequently locked, leading to missed deliveries and lost packages.

    The Junction, LS12

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is generally convenient and pleasant to live in. There is a good range of nearby shops, supermarkets, cafés and restaurants within walking distance, as well as some green spaces that are well maintained and suitable for relaxing or exercising. Public transport links are reliable, with regular buses and nearby train connections making commuting straightforward, although services can be busy at peak times. On the street, parking can be limited, especially in the evenings, but bin collections are consistent. Traffic noise is noticeable at times, and there is occasional anti-social behaviour, though it is not a major issue overall.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management usually responds within a reasonable timeframe and resolves straightforward issues efficiently. More complex problems can take longer and sometimes require follow-up, but overall they are polite, organised and make an effort to address concerns.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known more about peak-time noise and parking availability before moving in, as these are harder to judge during a viewing. It is also helpful to understand how building management communicates and the expected response times, as this can vary depending on the issue. Speaking to existing residents early on would have provided useful insights into day-to-day living.

    The Marches, GU21

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I appreciate the short walk to the station with easy and fast access to the high street shops. Only issue is sometimes noisy and loud behaviour by teenagers and drunks usually over weekends and at night on the street.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Nkosi is always excellent and highly capable in resolving any maintenance issue. He is dependable and trusted to complete a high quality job.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing I can think of as I was given a detailed viewing, especially as one of the 1st residents moving in.
