BEAUTIFUL VILLA NEAR THE SEA WITH VIEWS OF THE FRAGAS DEL EUME

This gorgeous and well-maintained property is located just outside the popular resort town of Pontedeume in the district of Cornide, only 15 minutes from Ferrol and about 25 minutes from A Coruña, on a hill overlooking the last remaining Atlantic rainforest, the famous Fragas del Eume, a wonderful hiking and fishing area.

The beautiful beach of Cabañas can be easily reached from here in just 5–10 minutes via well-maintained roads.
The house is completely peaceful and accessible via a beautiful wrought-iron gate. A paved path leads to a garage in the basement of the house, which can comfortably accommodate 2 cars (parking spaces for at least 4–5 cars on the property).

You enter this charming house, built in 1984, on the ground floor with a large kitchen, which includes a very well-maintained and functional wood-burning stove and direct access to the balcony and the spacious living room with fireplace. During the winter, the fireplace also heats the upper floor via a sophisticated system of pipes (all rooms are also connected to central heating, with the radiators artfully clad in wood).

An office room, which could easily serve as a bedroom or fitness room, and a large bathroom complete the floor plan on the ground floor.

The basement reveals the soul of the house, which was built by its owner primarily for spending convivial days with friends and family and pursuing various leisure activities.

The open garage boasts a wine cellar that can store around 500 bottles at a constant temperature, a laundry room, another bathroom (where you can shower after a dip in the pool), and the first of two summer kitchens, which are so popular here in northwestern Spain: This room is perfect for meeting up with friends on cooler winter days and baking bread, cakes, and the famous empanadas in the stone oven, which can then be enjoyed together in the cozy wooden kitchen.

Outside the house, there is also a summer kitchen with a large brick barbecue, the heart of the house and a popular meeting place on balmy summer evenings.

The approximately 6,000 m² grounds also feature a small guest house, a large kennel, a pool, a tennis court, and a shooting range.

From the lower part of the grounds, a door leads directly to the first hiking trail through the beautiful landscape along the Eume River.
This house is ideal for a family who likes to spend a lot of time in the fresh air, but also for someone who likes to invite friends over and spend time with them actively. Everything is taken care of here, a house that invites you to put your cell phone aside and prepare a meal together, fire up the grill, play all kinds of sports, or just relax on one of the many terraces and enjoy the magnificent view, read (or write) a book, and enjoy life.
