Palazzo Grossi is a most unusual home that forms part of the old walls of Pico. Opposite the building, outside the walls, there is a about 600 square metres of garden, originally used for growing vegetables etc. A vineyard just outside town is owned by the same family, and is also available for sale if desired.

There are two entrances on the first floor, one showing the original stone carving of the Grossi family coat of arms. On the lower level, there are splendid cantinas. Various original features remain, and there are fine views across the valley.

The building is currently uninhabited, and while it has kitchens, bathrooms, heating etc, it obviously requires some restoration to bring it back to the standard such an important building should meet.

A stone's throw from the church of Sant'Antonino Martire and Santa Marinella, and within easy walking distance of everything in town, it is less than an hour from the sea and renowned seaside resorts such as Terracina and Gate. Judged one of the 'most beautiful towns in Italy', the municipality of Pico has become a destination of tourists and also scholars, thanks to the Tommaso Landolfi Literary Park, inaugurated in 2014. The town is also near the renowned Pastena Caves, and for those who are less interested in scenic and literary pursuits, is also a centre for motor sport events and rallies.
