It is a convenient location in Merchant city because everything is so close that you don't need to have a car to go to bara, restaurants, supermarkets, parks, etc.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The manager has been really helpful by replying all my emails
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It is not bad but I wish they could have sent a manual of the electrodomestics and the report inspection before getting there to have time to read it calmly because it is chaotic organizing everything

Candleriggs is situated directly in the town centre with everything needed very close at hand. Supermarkets, restaurants, postal services, typical high street stores, and chemists are all within a very short walk. The train station and the Subway are in close proximity and bus stops are situated along the pavements. Car parking is also available if needed. The bustle on the street is very friendly. Glasgow is famous for its welcome.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Efficiently and promptly and always in a very courteous manner.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
To date we have not encountered any particular problems with either the apartment or staff.

The location is perfect, it never lets you down for food and drink options, there are so many. Weekly shops are made easy with a supermarkets very near. All the main Glasgow train stations are a very reasonable walk away, with busses passing constantly. The windows and walls are very soundproof, often forgot I live in the busy city centre.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Response was very quick and communication was great regarding any ongoing issues
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How long the background checks take, was nearly off putting due to the third party letting agency.

I love living at candleriggs. Its very peaceful when you have a courtyard facing apartment as you dont face out to the city centre, its pretty silent! I also have a dog and he has settled so well here. I enjoy the location being surrounded by bars and cafes but its great there is security 24/7 to really make me feel safe.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
they handled it well. they called me to arrange access, they are friendly and got things fixed quickly after i reported it.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
inside the apartment there is a camera buzzer system so if someone rings you from the front entrance, you can see who it is! I find this really helpful

There is a tesco, morrisons, sainsburys and M&S all in walking distance from the building. Being in Merchant City there is a whole range of restaurants, bars and coffee shops nearby. I see the candleriggs staff picking up little surrounding the building to keep the area looking nice.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They responded very quickly with solutions that worked for me
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The viewing was very informative. The only thing which is not quite advertised is that only one of the sliding wardrobe doors is mirrored. the non mirrored door was tucked behind the mirrored door at the viewing and I wrongly assumed that they would both be mirrored. I would prefer if they were both mirrored.
