This property is well connected by Bus routes. Parking facilities is excellent. Sufficient parking lots available and for guests also it adequate. have not faced any problems with bin collections. No traffic noise experienced.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Most of the problems solved quickly but few things in maintenance was delayed due unavailability of parts.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
1. Difficulties in booking the halls. 2. Construction in Edgbaston cricket stadium which will block the view to watch cricket match from our building. 3. Difficulties facing in parking cricket matches in stadium this should have explained to us. 4. Prob

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The noise coming from the street specially those flats opposite to the Friar street, night clubs play a very loud music and people are going crazy on the street, I found it difficult to sleep each Thursday to Sunday.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Mia was super helpful during the move in- she helped with the maintenance, although it took time a month until they came to fix some cracks on the walls, but she did follow up with them many times.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Maybe I could have moved to another flat farther from the noise, but over time I got used to it and the noise became much less noticeable than it was during the first few months.

Central to Nottingham so an ideal place to live if you want access to nearby amenities. Quiet at night - parking a nightmare.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Haven’t raised anything yet so cannot comment on how it’s been handled.

How bad the parking was & the immersion boiler that doesn’t hold heat for longer than 24 hours
Manager's response5Hello Alex, Thank you for your feedback. All our apartments are all electric as we do not have gas in the building, and the EPC rating for your home is D. Our maintenance technician will be able to attend to ensure the energy features in your home are set at optimum settings. Unfortunately we do not offer parking at British Waterways, further reinforced by the signage in place There are local NCP carparks that the community team can give you guidance on to find the most cost effective solution for your parking needs. Good environment people are nice the street is quiet. There is a big garden around my apartment and a big gym so I can make exercises

The picture of each room, each type of the room may not be posted so I can’t choose and prechoose any of them

The range of local shops and restaurants are really good especially within the surrounding areas . Mosley , Birmingham City Centre, edgbaston and kings heath / stirtchley . Theres an empty unit in our building which I beleive would be a great venue for a brunch spot / restaurant . I personally think that the residents especially would take full advantage of that .
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Fastly and efficiently . I haven’t had many issues but the ones I have had been sorted in the same day if not the next day !
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I was pretty familiar with the building before moving in so there wasn’t much I didnt already know . For a new neighbour I would say be prepared to feel accepted and welcomed by everyone here . Nothing will be too much so just ask . An join in with all the activities they have planned as there super fun !
