    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    Living in Moda is really nice. The building is in a very busy street so if you like busy areas then I would recommend. The streets are crowded with people, shops and restaurants. There’s also a lot of bars and clubs in the area so be aware if you’re looking for somewhere quiet.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    Maintenance can quite slow with responses and repairs and they’re usually not there on weekends but otherwise they are very helpful. The concierge team is very nice. Peter and Moses are always so helpful and keep the place safe

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    Can be noisy and crowded on the weekends with all the bars

    Life of Moda have been well for me with all the benefits of clean buildings with easy access for city and shops

    We like outdoor and studio for stay in night also study. Gym well looked after for exercise

    Broad street have been busy all weekend and few people drunk

    A wide variety of shops exists hand in hand which makes local area very vibrant. The demographic of the area makes the Mercian a great place to live in.

    Problems which needs attention are handled by the building management well

    More resident events are welcome every month so that residents can engage more

    A really great area to live with good amount of shops and transport available. The street is very lively and can be busy at certain times. There’s a bit of traffic at certain times and parking availability can be limited if you don’t have access to Moda, there’s also five ways parking

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    When issues are raised, they listen carefully, provide clear communication, and take appropriate steps to resolve problems

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    I wish I had known how much of a difference small practical details make, like where parcels are usually left, how quickly maintenance requests are handled after hours, and which areas stay busiest late in the day. These things don’t come up in a viewing but are very helpful to know early on and make settling in much smoother.

    Extremely convenient location; the Parking is very secure and the best in Birmingham. Bin collections are always 'on-point' and the sound proofing on the windows and doors block out all the BroadStreet noise.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    Issues that i raised over the past 3 years were always dealt with swiftly and amicably.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    How easy the set-up when first moving in was! This is often the most daunting thing (do all the appliances work, is the room clean, how is the billing set-up etc). The Mercian/Moda excelled in this area.
