Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Tram right outside with bus routes for easy access. There is local cinema and activities and inside cortland there is the outside area and the gym. There isn’t much bad, do not own a car so cannot comment on parking, the bins do get full but it’s a given and cortland try hard to keep them tidy. There isn’t any traffic noise which is surprising being on broad street.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I had an issue with the bathroom lights suddenly going dim, I put in a service request and it was amended so quickly. A member of the service team came in and fixed both lights within minutes and it hasn’t been a problem since. Can’t say any problems or issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Honestly can’t think of anything, Only thing I can say it is cold sometimes.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location is excellent. Public transport links, shopping and entertainment are on the doorstep or very near. This is city centre living I have dreamed of. It took time together used to having Broad Street as my local location.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I’ve had 1 minor issue with a fob being deactivated when it should not have been, otherwise the team are responsive and trustworthy. Maintenance teams have been trusted to enter my apartment unaccompanied, that’s how much I trust them.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Never be afraid to raise issues with the staff. Stay civil and polite and you’ll build a fabulous relationship with them. Staff work long shifts, so when they go the extra mile to solve problems it’s more than just a job. The heating isn’t the best, it needs upgrading already, so it’s not yet an apartment for those who love heat. There is no CCTV in the residential corridors, so problem tenants can only be dealt with if you report their behaviour, the good ones change their behaviour whilst the bad ones don’t get renewed.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s great I have everything I need from supermarket, GP, city centre all around the building and close to it.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Faster than expected, I didn’t need to wait for long

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I did know everything about the building before I move so everything was as expected.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local shops near by and lots of bars and restaurants, it's perfectly central. Ideal place to live in birmingham . Not too loud considering we're right on borad street and parking is available outside (not included with rent)

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always really helpful Issues are sorted out quickly and efficiently.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Would have been nice to have more details on parking but this is minor

    Dec 2025

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good - transport links, lots of shops and things to do around Bad - No parking as there are lots of developments in the area with parking

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    None raised yet. Not applicable.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Good - Booking required to access some spaces in the property - this keeps an element of exclusivity in the building.
