4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Central location very useful; lots of shops for picking up everyday items like milk and bread; nice restaurants close by including Rudy's Pizza; easy to get buses and trams as they're a 5-min walk away. Recent roadworks to the main road has created issues with deliveries having to use side streets/rear of the development; building has parking but a lot of the buildings nearby do not so the roads do get clogged up during evenings and weekends, sometimes even with careless drivers going the wrong way down the one-way streets; you do get some anti-social behaviour from a lot of the buildings around (sound travels across the street) but the building managers of both the surrounding buildings as well as our own are really good at resolving those issues if you raise anything with them.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very approachable and they listen to all queries/issues, applying a triage system. Urgent issues are always dealt with in a timely manner.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
In the age of screens and digital technology, it's still amazing to see how much more you can get out of people by simply getting chatting to them and making friends. The building team are always very professional and helpful, but this is amplified when you get to know them directly and you can just run any queries/issues past them and get guidance right there and then. It also makes them handling things like your parcel deliveries far, far easier!

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living on this street is generally very convenient, with good access to transport links—buses and trams are about a 10-minute walk away, making commuting straightforward. Parking is manageable, and despite being in a central, busy area, traffic noise is surprisingly low. While the neighbourhood is lively and close to many restaurants and a large Chinese supermarket, the proximity to other buildings means privacy and views can be limited.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been excellent in responding to any issues I’ve raised. The staff are friendly, approachable, and always quick to help. If the problem is something they can fix on the spot, they usually sort it out immediately. For anything that requires more time, they follow up within a day and keep me updated, which makes the whole process smooth and reassuring.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing you might not realise from a typical viewing is how densely developed the surrounding area is. The apartment is in a fantastic location, but it’s close to other residential buildings, which means privacy and views can feel a bit limited. It’s not a major issue, but it’s something worth knowing in advance. On the positive side, the building is much quieter than you’d expect for such a central location, and management is incredibly responsive—so any concerns you do have are dealt with quickly. My tip for a new neighbour would be to make the most of the convenient local amenities and the helpful on-site team, as they genuinely make day-to-day living easier.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Very good location, close to everything, pet-friendly, walking distance to city centre. Great concierge team too, regular events. Close to bus stops, train station. Lots of parking availability. Also like the fact there are bike storage too.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has always responded quite fast to any problems we've raised over the past year (through email, calls...) and always make sure to act quickly and always keep us updated.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The website already has a lot of information regarding floor plans, activities, facilities... Only thing would be to mention on rightmove which floors or how many flats are available.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The range of shops/restaurants is great and the fact that everything is very easily accessible because of Broadside’s prime location makes it even more convenient. The transport links are great as well, be it buses/trams or trains- all quite easily available. Despite being on the main road, we’ve never had concerns about the noise levels or any public nuisance.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They’re usually quite prompt and with forwarding any repair queries to get someone to fix it as soon as possible.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The viewing was quite elaborate and everything was explained very well so we came into the house knowing what to expect and what support would be available in case we needed any. The greatest advantage is how pet-friendly the apartment it and that has made it so much easier for our puppy to make to new friends as well!

3Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Area is a 5 min walk from NQ and city centre. Full of bars, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Always feels like a breeze.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Although a big delay with some carpet problems, the carper was changed and very happy with the results. Dave, their maintenance guy, was lovely, kind, on time and did a great job with changing my carpet. Would deffo recommend him.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
They use community utilities for bills, where you pay all bills (water, electricity, gas) all together. Some will like, others won’t
