5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Located right in the city centre, meaning that everything is very accessible. Around a 5-10 minute walk from the train station which is perfect for commuters, but also surrounded by bus stops for those that need to get around the city.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
When we have previously had expected issues within the apartment, the app we can access makes it very easy to put in maintenance requests or issues which has really made the process quick and accessible. We are usually contacted very promptly after the requests are submitted and usually whoever is working the reception will come and take a look for us before putting it through the maintenance if it can't be resolved.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Our viewing was very detailed and we don't really have anything that wasn't covered with questions we had.

Very local to the city centre, and many things to do around. Quiet area at night, and never any local trouble/issues.

Any problems we have had with our apartment has been resolved in good time
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in this area has been great — everything you need is within walking distance, including shops, cafes, restaurants and public transport links. The neighbourhood feels safe and friendly, and being so close to the city centre makes day-to-day life very convenient. Noise levels are surprisingly low for such a central location. The only minor downside is that parking can be limited, but overall the area is an excellent place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has been outstanding. On the rare occasions we’ve reported an issue, it has been dealt with promptly and efficiently. The team is responsive, polite and genuinely cares about residents’ comfort. Maintenance requests are always handled quickly, and communication is consistently strong.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known how warm and energy-efficient the building is, even in winter we hardly need to use the heating. It’s also quieter than you’d expect for a city-centre location. Overall, these were pleasant surprises, and I think new residents would appreciate knowing how comfortable the building really is.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It’s a good locality with Lidl and Tesco nearby for groceries, as well as plenty of restaurants and local shops for quick errands. Transport links are convenient, and the area generally feels calm with manageable traffic and reliable bin collections
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We haven’t had any problems so far, so there hasn’t been a need for building management to intervene. Everything has been running smoothly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
My tip for a new neighbour would be to explore the local eateries and take advantage of the nearby open spaces - it’s a really welcoming community

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Milliners Yard is located in a highly desirable neighbourhood, surrounded by convenient shops such as Aldi, Home Bargains, and Tesco Express. Perfectly situated on London Road, it is just a 10-minute walk from both the train station and the city centre. The area also offers a wide range of takeaways and restaurants, making it one of the most sought-after locations for renting an apartment.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
As the building is newly constructed with all new equipment, we haven’t encountered any issues. The management is also highly proactive with maintenance, which has made the living experience excellent.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Moving in has been a smooth experience. We quickly familiarised ourselves with both the flat and the building, and the management team has been very helpful, promptly answering any questions we’ve had.
