5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Perfect location in the heart of the city, with a variety of restaurants and bars/pubs just down Belmont Street within a 5-10 minutes radius. Most of the clubs are within 10-15 minutes walk making night life super accessible. Lidl, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s Local and Co-op all in 20 minute walking distance. Bon Accord shopping centre and Trinity shopping centre are both about 5 minutes walk away where you can get pretty much anything you would like. The streets are in general safe and relatively quiet, although depending on the room’s location in the building may be a bit louder. Union Terrace Gardens is right outside if you fancy a walk in the park and the Art Gallery is across the street as well. One downside is the parking, as there isn’t free parking available, however, parking anywhere in aberdeen is a nightmare anyway. There are nearby parking opportunities, however, like Bon Accord shopping centre. Lastly, Union Square and the train station are about 10-15 minutes walk away making everything ridiculously accessible. In terms of public transport, Union Street is 3 minutes walk away with a variety of bus stops going in all directions.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Anything that could be resolved easily was resolved in a matter of days, the remaining things may have taken longer but they did eventually resolve as well.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Storage space is obviously not ideal so it’s good to prepare and know you might need to purchase a book shelf or two.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Perfect location, just across the bridge from town yet far away enough to block out the bulk of the noise. Chapel street can get busy but other than that we loved the location. There are a few small supermarkets nearby, Victoria station is only 10 minutes away and there are plenty of car parks.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
All issues were seen to promptly. Staff were always really helpful and friendly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That the washer / dryer isn’t really a dryer ! It never worked for us and when we complained the man told us we could only put a few small things in at a time which defeats the point of a dryer.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It’s nice and quiet but at the same time only a short walk to city centre, there is many bars close by also if you don’t fancy going into centre. Parking can be an issue and normally means paying for the garage, which can be quite a bit specially if just the one person.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, any issues in the flat gets logged through an app and they will send someone round
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
-local Tesco is close, but bigger supermarkets aren’t. -If you need a garage it’s a bit pricey on top of rent but handy. -Some of the flats are pet friendly. -Can store bikes in the garage -Depends where you flat faces you might not got any sun

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in the Manchester City Centre near Chester Road offers a lively urban experience with a mix of conveniences and challenges. The location is one of its biggest advantages — it’s within easy walking distance of Deansgate, Spinningfields, and major transport links, making commuting and accessing the city’s amenities extremely convenient. There are plenty of supermarkets, gyms, cafés, and bars nearby, and the area is continually developing, giving it a modern feel with lots of new housing and facilities.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We did not need to raise any problems or issues during the tenancy.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Parking unavailability. There is off street which gets busy. However there wasn’t any parking on site available when we moved.
Manager's response5Hi Georgia, and thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Botanica. We’re delighted to hear that you’ve enjoyed the modern facilities, vibrant city-centre lifestyle, and excellent location - and appreciate you pointing out the challenges with parking availability. We understand how that can be inconvenient and while on-site parking is limited, we hope the great transport links have helped make getting around a little easier. Thanks again for your recommendation - it means a lot to us!
