The chalet provides an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful part of North Cornwall, being just 2.5 miles from the National Trust–owned Sandymouth Beach and the scenic coastal cliffs. The property can be used personally or let out as a holiday rental. Bookings can be managed through the on-site letting service, although the current owners successfully use Sykes for their reservations.

Penstowe Park offers a range of facilities for guests, pool tables, a bar, and a restaurant. The park is conveniently located just half a mile from the well-served village of Kilkhampton, which provides a good range of local shops and services including a butcher, two public houses, a Premier Store, Co-op, and various independent businesses.
There is easy access from the park onto the A39, offering excellent links to the coastal resort of Bude — home to two further sandy beaches and major supermarkets. To the north, the A39 connects to Bideford, Barnstaple, and the M5 motorway.
