Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Leith is a great location to live and since moving away three years ago I’ve been working out ways to come back, and I’m very grateful about moving to Dockside as it’s still quiet, yet very close to public transport, buses and city centre availability for taxis and driving. There’s a host of hidden gems nearby and can only recommend the location!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Fixed a small issue we had very quickly, plus easy to report issues with the app

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I didn’t think I’d be that interested in the boats out the back as much as I thought I would be

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The street is calm and peaceful. Local shops and cafes are close, and there are great paths along the water for walks. Public transport is so easy to reach, and overall I really enjoy the area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues are handled properly with clear and friendly communication from the team.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The Tulu vending machine is more used than expected, you can’t rent hoovers, hair dryers and even games, which is very handy or short term uses.

    Manager's response

Hi Catherine, Thanks so much for your lovely review—it’s great to know Dockside is meeting your expectations. We work hard to ensure our homes are well-designed and our service is responsive, so your feedback is incredibly rewarding for the whole team. If you have any suggestions or requests in the future, we’d love to hear them.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A vibrant neighborhood with cafés, bars, and shops close by. Streets are clean and safe, and parking is generally manageable. Public transport is easy to access.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Problems are addressed quickly and efficiently, with great communication from management.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The coffee tap is excellent—affordable, high-quality, and perfect for a quick caffeine fix without leaving the building.

    Manager's response

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in Dockside Leith has been a fantastic experience. The area has an excellent range of local shops, cafés, restaurants and bars, offering everything from everyday essentials to great places to eat and socialise. The waterfront setting and nearby open spaces make it ideal for walks and relaxing outdoors. Transport links are very convenient, with frequent buses and tram access making it easy to get around the city and beyond. Living on the street itself is pleasant and well looked after, reliable bin collections, and a generally calm and friendly atmosphere. Overall, it’s a vibrant, welcoming area with a great sense of community and lifestyle.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management has been very responsive and helpful whenever I’ve raised any questions or issues. Communication has always been clear and timely, and any matters have been dealt with efficiently and professionally, giving real confidence in how well the building is managed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is just how strong the sense of community is here. It’s something that doesn’t always come across during a viewing, but makes a big difference once you’re settled in. I’d also suggest new neighbours take time to explore the local area and waterfront early on, as there are so many great spots nearby that really enhance day-to-day living.

    Manager's response

Hi Kerrie, We’re delighted to hear such positive feedback—thank you! Creating a community where residents feel at home is one of our top priorities, and it’s great to know that’s reflected in your experience at Dockside. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if there’s anything you need going forward.
