There is a Tesco’s Express near by along with a choice of local public houses and the Voco Spires Hotel. It would come as no surprise you are spoilt for choice being on the doorstep of Oxford for educational institutes, its retail & eateries and of course Oxford Rail Station & Bus Stations servicing many routes out of the city.

In The Owners Own Words:
I bought the house in early 2021 as I already knew what a friendly neighbourhood New Hinksey was from friends – it has been every bit as lovely as I expected living here and my grown-up kids have really enjoyed having the park, pool, and river nearby when they visit as well as having such nice pubs and cafes nearby whilst being so close to the city. When the Hinksey Outdoor Pool is open I buy a season ticket and go several times a week – it is really such a treat to have that on the doorstep.
I liked the house for its south-facing garden and I enjoyed transforming the garden with two small columnar trees for autumn colour and some roses and new shrubs. I can’t say I have done much with the abundant apple crop from the mature tree in the middle of the garden but I have much enjoyed the blossom in the Spring. I have made very good use of the raised terrace which really gets so much sun – a nice table and chairs with some lovely terracotta pots and you could be in the south of France.
