Reviewer was offered an incentive for an honest review, regardless of rating

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There's a big Morrisons right next door, which is very convenient. I do wish there were more stores nearby such as Boots, M&S, and cafes. 15min walk to met line. Bin collections are smooth. Very little traffic noise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have been very quick with responses, coming to fix issues within two-three days. Very kind maintenance team.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Typical monthly bills. Otherwise the facilities that come with the complex have been amazing

The location is very convenient with a supermarket right next door and the park 10 minute walk away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They address the issue and are usually quite quick at coming to fix them as well

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There’s not really any surprises since moving here

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good things - pretty much has everything you could need. Great quality shopping centre and loads of supermarkets. Good connections to London. Bad things - traffic in Watford.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, they have responded to every issue in good time

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I’d known how great the location was so I didn’t have to bother searching in St Albans!

Reviewer was offered an incentive for an honest review, regardless of rating

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in the local area has a good mix of positives and a few minor drawbacks. There is a wide range of local shops, cafés, restaurants and some bars, as well as pleasant open spaces that are easy to reach. Public transport is available and generally convenient, although the bus service is not always regular; overall it is still acceptable for getting around. Despite the area being busy, traffic does not really impact our day-to-day life or cause significant problems. On the street itself, it is mostly calm and residential, with manageable parking, regular and reliable bin collections, and very little anti-social behaviour. Overall, it is a comfortable and convenient place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has been responsive and addressed issues promptly, keeping communication clear and professional throughout.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing to know before moving into Cortland Cassiobury Watford is that some bus services can be irregular, so planning journeys in advance can be helpful, especially during off-peak times.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great access to both the M1 and M25. Watford Underground station is a 15 minute walk with Watford Junction Station just a bit further. A Morrisons supermarket on the doorstep and all other major supermarkets just a short drive away. There are lots of nice restaurants and pubs to visit and Cassiobury Park is just a few minutes walk away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There was an issue with the EV chargers in the car park and the team responded very quickly and it was sorted within a few days.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The apartment says at a constant 19-20 and so far I’ve not had to put the heating on, the only disappointing aspect is the standing charges are more than the cost of my energy usage. The water has a high mineral content which makes it taste different, I prefer to buy my drinking water.
