What attracted you to the property when you bought it?

The property is in a lovely, quiet part of the UK with lots of countryside nearby. The property itself was very large which meant it had a lot of development potential that we have taken advantage of. It also has a large garden with distinct areas and plant types. This all made it a great first family home for our young children. 

What improvements have you made to the house?

We made most of the downstairs open-plan, fitting a new kitchen and making space for a downstairs bathroom and a washing machine under the stairs. Upstairs, we utilised some of the space from the two bigger bedrooms to open up both the bathroom and third bedroom and made space for an airing cupboard. We also modernised the bathroom and put in a new boiler and radiators throughout the house.

What have you enjoyed about living there? 

With all the improvements and little touches, we added along the way (like a large bookshelf downstairs and a bunk-bed upstairs) the place became our home. The local community is very friendly and there are lots of things to do in the area. We were also impressed by the school, Kent College, that our children went to.

Location

The property is located only 0.3 miles from paddock Wood Main line station making it an ideal choice for the commuter with its regular services to London Charing Cross, Waterloo East and, London Bridge. 
It is also conveniently located for Paddock Wood village which offering shopping for every day needs including Waitrose, Tesco Express, banks, post office plus educational need serviced by the secondary and primary schools. 
There are near by playing fields with well-equipped play areas plus countryside walks along footpaths just five minutes away. 
The larger towns of Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone are just a convenient short drive away.
