Description
Set within a desirable residential location and occupying a generous, level plot backing directly onto Coulsdon Court Golf Club, this spacious four-bedroom detached family home presents an exceptional opportunity for buyers seeking space, privacy, and the chance to create a home perfectly tailored to modern family living.
Offered to the market with no onward chain, the property is ideal for those looking to upgrade, modernise, or extend, with ample scope to add value and reimagine the layout to meet today’s lifestyle needs. The house has been loved by the same family for many years and now invites new owners to unlock its full potential.
Upon entering, there is a spacious hallway that provides an inviting introduction to the home, leading through to a generous rear-aspect sitting room. This well-proportioned space features a traditional fireplace and double doors opening directly onto the garden, creating a wonderful connection between indoor comfort and outdoor relaxation. The adjoining dining room, with its charming bay window, offers the perfect setting for family meals, celebrations, or a more formal dining experience.
The kitchen and breakfast room overlooks the rear garden with direct access to both a side lean-to and a sliding patio door leading to the rear garden. There is also a downstairs cloakroom.
Upstairs, the first floor has four generously sized bedrooms. The principal bedroom enjoys far-reaching views across the garden and includes fitted wardrobes and a built-in dressing table. The remaining bedrooms offer excellent space for children, guests, or home working, complemented by a family bathroom and separate shower room with WC.
The standout feature of this property is the large rear garden. Mature and beautifully secluded, the garden extends over a large, level area laid mainly to lawn with a patio terrace providing a perfect space for relaxation, barbecues, and family gatherings. The property’s position backing onto Coulsdon Court Golf Course offers a unique sense of calm, with leafy views and impressive privacy rarely found so close to town.
To the front, there is a private driveway providing off-street parking and access to the triple tandem-style garage. The wide frontage, level access, and substantial plot provide opportunities for future extension, subject to local planning consent.
Old Coulsdon and Coulsdon Town together offer an appealing mix of green space, good schools and strong transport links, making the area very popular with families and commuters. Old Coulsdon has more of a village feel close to commons and countryside, while Coulsdon Town offers a livelier high street with a wider range of shops, cafés and everyday services.
Families are drawn to the area by well-regarded local schools, including Woodcote Primary and High Schools, Keston Primary School and the Oasis Academy. Coulsdon Town and Coulsdon South stations provide regular rail services to central London and Gatwick, and the A23, M23 and M25 are within easy reach, giving excellent road connections
My Life My Home
“We bought this house when our eldest child was 8 and the youngest 10 months. It was perfect for them to grow up in and they still enjoy coming back with their own children.
Later we acquired a dog which was just right for walking around the golf course and the children loved playing in the woods.
It is ideally located for popping to the shops at the Tudor Parade which has a very useful range of independent stores.
Unfortunately it has now become too big and the garden too large for me to manage, I hope it will be enjoyed by a new family and I wish them all happiness in it”
