The Holloway's location couldn't be better: nestled between New Street Station & The Mailbox - we blend the hustle and bustle of city centre living with the quiet enjoyment of being near to Birmingham's canal side. Enjoy being within walking distance of an abundance of culture: museums, entertainment, bars and restaurants all lie on your doorstep - living at The Holloway makes it easy to sample all that Birmingham has to offer. Commuting? The Holloway is only a 13 minutes' walk to Birmingham New Street Station. Worried about carrying your shopping? Don't be! We are a short walk away from The Bullring as well as having a range of convenience stores on our doorstep.
UTILITIES
With 150mb WI-FI included each month, you can connect and start surfing as soon as you move in! Should you select an upgrade, we have two options available to you:
500 mb - £10 per month
1GB - £15 per month
All apartments are electric supplied having self-contained electric hot water and heating - residents are welcome to choose their own utility providers when you move in, however, for ease we offer all residents the ability to consolidate bills with our partners at Homebox - please speak to a member of the team should you need more information.
DEPOSIT
Our traditional deposit is the equivalent of Five Week's Rent
Alternatively, subject to referencing, The Holloway is partnered with Flatfair's No Deposit solution - meaning residents can opt out of paying a traditional security deposit but instead, can pay a nil deposit fee of 28% of 1 month's rent (+VAT). This fee is non-refundable and is not a deposit so cannot be used towards covering the cost of any future damages that might occur. The plan means you don't have to pay the deposit in advance but you are still responsible for paying any outstanding rent or damages. For more information, please speak to a member of the team or visit Flatfair's website
PARKING
Parking is available at £150 per calendar month - please note we have limited availability and parking is available on a first come first serve basis.
Within the car park there are a small amount EV Parking Spaces for any electric vehicles. We also have some disabled car parking spaces should they be required by the residents. Car details such as make, model and registration will be required at the time of reservation.
As our parking will be limited, we have an ongoing partnership with Q Park @ The Mailbox who offer discounted rates for The Holloway Residents.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We live right next to the mail box so restaurants and shops and right on your front door. We also have corner shops opposite the building which is easily accessible. New street station is about a 5/10 minute walk depending how fast you walk. Parking has now become available as the building expands
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I have no concerns with Apo and their management team they’re quick to rectify issues. Kam the maintenance man is always around when issues arise.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The delay on amenities would may have had us look else where however they’re now in place and we are grateful for them
Manager's response5Hi Nicole, Thank you for your review - we really appreciate your balanced feedback. I'm so pleased the team have been able to assist you during your tenancy and equally pleased that our amenity spaces are now open 2026 is a really exciting year for our events calendar - we're glad that you're embracing this part of what we have to offer, and I know the team will be open to event suggestions if you have any! Kind Regards, Louise

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I’ve lived here for over a year now and I love it here! The staff are always so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help you. The facilities are awesome, the location is great.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, and they have fixed everything extremely quickly
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Mainly the gym, which is still not open but it will be open soon
Manager's response5Hi Tom, Thank you so much for your positive review on our team, community and amenity spaces. We're looking forward to opening the gym in early 2026, but hope you enjoy the additional amenity spaces just opened for our residents to benefit from. Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in this area offers several significant advantages. Residents enjoy excellent connectivity to the city centre, with convenient access that makes commuting straightforward. The train station is within walking distance, providing further ease of travel. Essential amenities are close at hand, including local grocery stores, nearby healthcare facilities, and a wide selection of quality restaurants, all of which contribute to a comfortable and convenient lifestyle. However, there is one area where improvement would be beneficial. The facility management team should place greater focus on maintaining the cleanliness of the bin and rubbish room as well as collection. Ensuring that this area is kept hygienic not only enhances the overall living environment but also reduces the potential risk of infection or contamination from unclean surfaces.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Really good, they should keep it up. Maybe a much larger reception area in their future development.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I’m not sure, nothing ring a bell 🔔. I have no problem with the current system of moving in.
Manager's response5Hi DuneLight, Thank you so much for leaving your review - we're really happy and appreciative for your kind words. We're working really hard with Birmingham City Council to ensure communal bins are collected frequently, however, we have had some impact with the ongoing industrial action - where possible, we are arranging private collections. Kind Regards, Louise

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Transport links are generally very convenient, with New Street Station and local bus stops just a few minutes’ walk away. Parking, however, can be limited and competitive. Within 10 minutes you can reach the Bull Ring shopping mall, offering a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and bars. My street itself is clean, with little traffic noise, and it feels safe. Overall, the area is practical, well-connected, and provides a good balance of convenience and comfort.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has been responsive and professional, addressing issues quickly and keeping residents informed.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how to confirm that the Homebox office had correctly registered my information with the utility providers. I only realised there was an issue when I received a water bill and a council tax letter that did not have my name linked to my apartment.
Manager's response4Hi Andrew, Thank you for your review and lovely team feedback - I'll be sure to pass on your commentary to them - which means the world to everyone. We'd love you to review the management rating of your review should you feel the team are delivering excellent customer service and looking after the resident spaces. With reference to your bills, should you have any queries please let us know. Depending on your concerns, we may be able to assist or at least point you in the right direction of someone who can - as bills are the responsibility of the residents, sometimes the utility companies will need to speak with you direct, but the team are on hand to guide you should you need help. Kind Regards, Louise

To have the bills of the department. Only I wanted the refund of the payment I made twice.
Manager's response5Hi Veronica, Thank you for your review and lovely team feedback - I'm so proud that everyone on site is delivering the best customer service for you and your family.
