Positioned within the historic Greenwich Park Conservation Area and just moments from the iconic Royal Greenwich Park, the property benefits from driveway parking, a garage, and impressive far-reaching views from its expansive rear garden — a highly coveted and seldom-found feature in Greenwich.

The ground floor offers generous and flexible accommodation, including a welcoming hallway, an open-plan kitchen, a very large reception room featuring original parquet flooring, and a second reception room ideal as a dining room or additional living space. These rooms enjoy direct access to a stunning, large, mature garden with unique access to private woodland beyond, creating a truly special outdoor setting.

Upstairs, the first floor provides five well-proportioned bedrooms and a main family bathroom, making this an ideal home for growing families.

With huge potential for renovation and personalisation, this spacious home presents a rare chance to create a truly exceptional residence in one of Greenwich’s most desirable locations. Early viewing is highly recommended to appreciate the setting, scale, and opportunity on offer.

Vendors comments;

The house at No 81 has been in our family for over 60 years, and was bought by our parents as their family grew. It is a lovely location, up a quiet cul-de-sac just a couple of minutes walk from Greenwich Park. With a huge garden and access to the park (with an excellent playground) and to Blackheath for kite flying, there was plenty of space for five boys to run around and keep themselves amused. In the summers we camped in the garden, being evicted only when our parents wanted the space for garden parties for the extended family. In winters, the tobogganing down One Tree Hill was exhilarating, especially on the one part where you actually become airborne.

The neighbourhood is very settled, with lots of long-term residents who help each other out and hold street parties from time to time. When our father became elderly, various neighbours volunteered to assist him go for his daily walk in the park or with moving furniture as required. If anyone needs printing paper, mislays their cat or can’t be home to put the bins out, there is always support.

Our fondest memories of the house are taking visitors up onto the roof for a spectacular view out over London, or sitting by the fountain on a warm evening chatting and listening out for the geese flying over. It has been a wonderful family home, with endless opportunities for hospitality, adventures and childhood adventures, and we hope it will continue in that way for the new owners.

Located on Maze Hill, east of Greenwich Park, and west of the Westcombe Park area of Blackheath, within the Royal Borough of Greenwich, this area has a rich history and historical significance. Nearby, residents can explore Vanbrugh Castle, Greenwich Park, and enjoy the nearby Blackheath Village, Greenwich Village, and Blackheath Standard with their array of boutique shops, independent cafes, and delectable restaurants. Commuting to Central London, The City, and Canary Wharf is convenient, with Maze Hill Station and the Greenwich DLR just a short stroll away.

For families seeking excellent education options, esteemed state and private schools are within close proximity, ensuring a nurturing and top-tier learning environment for children.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to acquire your dream home in the beautiful location of East Greenwich. Book your viewing today!
