Description

Owners Comments…
We have had the pleasure of calling Tabby Drive our home for the past 11 years, having moved in when the property was newly built in 2014. It has been the perfect place to start and raise our family, especially after welcoming our daughter in 2017.

During our time here, we have created countless cherished memories. The peaceful, quiet setting has been ideal for family life, and the rear garden has provided the perfect backdrop for sunny days, paddling pool fun, and many summer barbecues with loved ones. We have also enjoyed the nearby woodland walks, which offer a wonderful escape into nature.

One of the things we will miss most is our exceptional neighbours. They have been incredibly friendly and supportive—always willing to help, whether it’s taking in a parcel, caring for pets, or simply sharing a chat over the fence. We’ve enjoyed many social gatherings with them, and their kindness has truly enhanced our experience of living here.

The property itself offers generous and versatile accommodation, including five double bedrooms—three of which feature built-in wardrobes—and a total of five bathrooms. The spacious kitchen/breakfast room at the rear of the house provides direct access to the garden. The extended patio features a large electric retractable awning that covers the full area, making it perfect for outdoor dining and barbecues in all conditions. Additional benefits include a garage, two allocated parking spaces to the side of the property, and convenient side access to the garden.

The location has also been a real advantage. Having Budgens just a short walk away has been incredibly convenient, and we will miss having such easy access to local amenities. The Swan Pub, The Farriers, and the village post office all contribute to the welcoming community feel of the area. Excellent access to the M4 makes travel simple and places everything you need within easy reach.

In summary, Tabby Drive has been a wonderful home for our family, and we are confident that the new owners will enjoy it every bit as much as we have. Although we will be sad to leave, our circumstances have changed, and it is time for us to move on. We hope the next chapter here brings as much happiness to its future owners as it has to us.
Dan & Neil Estate Agents’ comments…

This five bed detached townhouse has loads of space and a really easy, natural flow throughout. You walk into a big entrance hall with a downstairs W.C. and cloakroom, and from there the ground floor opens up nicely. At the back of the house is a large kitchen/breakfast room with double doors out to the garden. The owners have even added a brick-built BBQ, which is brilliant for entertaining in the summer. The kitchen also has glass doors through to the living room at the front, so the whole space feels bright.

On the first floor, there are three great sized bedrooms, and two of them have their own en suites, plus a family bathroom. Up on the top floor, you’ve got two more double bedrooms, and one of these also has an en suite - that’s three en suites in total and five genuine double bedrooms!

A really spacious, well laid out home that works perfectly for families or anyone who needs plenty of room.
Area Comments…
Tabby Drive is within the heart of Three Mile Cross and what we love most about this area is all the green space, there are loads of lovely walks literally on your doorstep. Three Mile Cross has some great local amenities too, like The Swan pub and a handy Budgens, both just a short walk away. You’re also close to Shinfield and Lower Earley, which offer even more shops, pubs, and everyday essentials.

If you need to commute, this spot makes life easy. You’ve got quick access to the M4 and A33, the Mereoak Park & Ride for buses into Reading, and the Green Park train station with direct links into London. It’s a great location for families or anyone who needs solid transport options.
