In July, the annual music and arts festival takes place in Petworth, with other concerts and activities taking place throughout the year. Rail services are available from Pulborough a main line station (less than 7 miles away) offering a regular service to Gatwick Airport and London Victoria taking 72 minutes. Haslemere station (14 miles north) provides a frequent service to London Waterloo taking from 49 minutes.
