There is also a Sainsburys local for more options. Sydenham Station is here and you can catch lines into London Bridge, Victoria and on the Overground. Alternatively walk along Willow Way and boom you are on Dartmouth Road and a 10 minute walk will have you at Forest Hill Station (on the same lines as Sydenham). As you walk by you will pass the Library ( a beautiful Edwardian building), and the super modern leisure centre and pool. Of course Forest Hill has a bevy of independent shops, boutiques, gastro pubs and coffee shops with art galleries, there is also the museum and lush gardens, farmers markets and wonderful community events. So we wouldn't blame you for wanting to make Kirkdale your home!
