5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
This is the centre of Milton Keynes, so the main shopping centre is very close, with all essential shops, restaurants and pubs nearby. It is a very convenient and pleasant area to live in. So far, I have not experienced any issues. I initially expected more noise due to the central location, but the flat has excellent sound insulation, which makes it very quiet and comfortable. Waste disposal is straightforward, with a designated area for collection, and I have had no problems with this. The building has its own parking, although it is more expensive than street parking directly in front of the building, where there are usually spaces available. I have not used public transport yet, so I cannot comment on that aspect.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
So far, I have not had any issues, only a few questions, all of which were answered very quickly and clearly by the building management team.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing in particular. All relevant information was clearly available on the company’s website and was also explained to me before I moved in.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Very short walk into town but not right in the city centre which is nice. Great parking (underground secure) and lots of street parking for guests if needed. Only negative is its opposite a building site which can sometimes be a bit noisy.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We have had to raise one service request since living here. It was inspected within an hour and the next day a plumber came and fixed the problem very quickly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Sometimes noise from the building works next door but not a huge issue. Would depend how loud based on where your flat faces

1Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There are very limited local amenities within immediate walking distance. The property falls under the LS11 postcode and is located in Holbeck rather than the city centre, which is an important distinction for prospective tenants. Car insurance premiums are notably higher in this area, which appears to be influenced by the frequency of vehicle break ins locally. The development also appears to have benefited from relatively low land acquisition costs compared to other recent city centre projects. Rather than this value being reflected in tenant pricing, significant ongoing investment seems to be directed towards on site management and enforcement staff. This presence appears focused on regulating and protecting the property from the surrounding area rather than enhancing the overall tenant living experience. The only positive feature worth mentioning is the availability of filtered drinking water in the communal area, which is something I would miss if I moved elsewhere.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes with overinflated repair costs, ultimately the repairs benefits the preservation of their investment in the building.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There is an active construction storage site directly next door, which regularly results in early morning noise from around 7am due to staff arrivals and forklift movements. Dust from stored materials also frequently settles on windows and can enter the flat when windows are open. In addition, the courtyard layout amplifies sound. Noise from open windows carries across the entire courtyard, which can be particularly disruptive, especially with frequent social gatherings from Thursday through to Sunday evenings.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The apartment is in a great location with convenient access to public transport. It’s peaceful and quiet, with no traffic noise, making daily commutes and city living effortless.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Once there was a water leak in my apartment, they responded and fixed the same day.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing, everything was clearly stated before I moved in
