Our opinion of the property

When we viewed the property the first thing that struck us was its prime location at the edge of the development, set back from the road and surrounded by greenery. The property is a really attractive design and has a bright, airy interior. The layout offers great versatility. The hub of the house is the beautiful bright kitchen/diner with high spec appliances and fittings plus utility room. The cozy lounge has a lovely bay window drawing light into the room. The ground floor is finished with a stylish entrance hallway and cloakroom/WC. 

The sunny lawned rear garden offers a great outside space to be enjoyed. The vendors have also installed an electric awning to ensure a comfortable shaded area is always available. The owners have really utilized all the space the house has to offer which includes converting the detached garage into a home office/study   

The layout of the house provides a spacious first floor space with 3 lovely sized bedrooms. The master has its own ensuite shower and WC plus a dressing room and there is a quality family bathroom serving the other bedrooms.   
 
Externally there is a private driveway and plenty of additional parking available nearby.

What attracted you to the property when you bought it ?

The lay out of three large double bedrooms and the location in Marden. The station is a 10-minute walk with services to the City and West End direct in under one hour. Marden is a nice village that is large enough to have lots of good amenities but small enough to retain its character.

What improvements have you made to the house ? 

Added two sheds to the garden, plated shrubs and roses which thrive in the soil. Converted the garage to an office with wood flooring, heating and recessed spotlights. Fibre to the house internet including the office. Converted family bathroom to a walk-in shower. Upgraded kitchen counter tops to granite, upgrade to full size oven in 2025. Porcelanosa Italian tiling to the kitchen, hallway and bathrooms. Electric awning on rear of the property. Extended patio. Loft boarded with loft ladder. Custom blackout blinds to all bedrooms. Electric car charging points. Camera and sensor based Simplesafe security and alarm system.

What have you enjoyed about living there ? 

Redrow add two extra courses of brick to the height of the rooms giving a roomier feel to the house. Easy access to the countryside, close to Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells, easy City/West End commute, pleasant development with nice neighbours. Low running costs.
