Description

This deceptively spacious four bedroom detached home occupies a highly sought after position within the village and provides over 1,900 sq ft of flexible, well proportioned accommodation, ideally suited to modern family life.

Approach to the home is via a shingled driveway offering parking for several vehicles, with a double garage positioned directly ahead and accessed via an up and over door. Upon entering the property you are welcomed by a porch which, in turn, gives access to a study—an ideal work from home space. A further inner door opens into the entrance hall, where a staircase rises to the first floor accommodation and a useful cloakroom is positioned to one side.

The kitchen/breakfast room has been fitted with a comprehensive range of contemporary Shaker style floor and wall mounted units with darker contrasting work surfaces over. A number of integrated appliances have been woven seamlessly into the design, while a breakfast bar provides space for informal dining. Adjacent is a separate utility room, offering additional storage capacity alongside space for freestanding appliances.

Running parallel to the kitchen is the dining room, which comfortably accommodates a table and chairs, making it ideal for family meals or entertaining. It features a papered statement wall and a window overlooking the rear elevation. Alongside sits the principal reception room, the living room, which commands impressive proportions—measuring 20’0ft by 12’6ft—and allows for flexible furniture placement. It has been decorated in neutral tones and hues, with a feature fireplace creating a clear focal point. Completing the ground floor is the conservatory, constructed of brick and uPVC double glazing beneath a vaulted polycarbonate roof, and enjoying attractive views across the rear garden.

To the first floor, the landing provides access to all accommodation on this level. The principal bedroom is positioned to the rear elevation and benefits from built in wardrobes and the convenience of its own en-suite. This comprises a panelled bath with shower unit over, cistern concealed WC and a wash hand basin set within a vanity unit. Of the remaining three bedrooms, two are located to the rear and the third occupies the front aspect, all of which are complemented by fitted or built in wardrobe storage. The family bathroom has been refitted to provide a stylish three piece suite incorporating a panelled bath with shower unit and glass concertina screen over, low level WC and pedestal wash hand basin, with modern tiling to the walls and an obscure window completing the look.

Externally, the rear garden has been thoughtfully designed and executed. A paved patio area sits immediately outside the property, ideal for relaxing or entertaining, beyond which the garden is predominantly laid to lawn with deep borders and a central bed stocked with an array of established plants, shrubs and bushes. The boundaries are enclosed by timber fencing, providing a good degree of privacy.
