Description

"Living so close to Gloucester Road has been amazing, Saturday trips to the bakery or relaxing in one of the many coffee shops have been a real treat. We love the variety of independent shops, and St Andrew’s Park is just a short walk away. The open-plan layout has been perfect for hosting, especially with the doors opening straight into the garden. The garden is a generous size for the area and a real sun trap in summer. Watching tadpoles and frogs in the pond has been such a joy for our daughter.
The big windows flood the house with light and give lovely views over Redland and Cotham. From the top window, we’ve enjoyed watching hot air balloons and fireworks."

The home

This exceptionally spacious property has a beautiful flow married with a warm, homely vibe. Completely renovated by the sellers with a keen eye for detail, the house combines a contemporary feel with a stylish and polished finish. The open plan layout of the ground floor flows beautifully with a direct line of sight through the house allowing natural light throughout the day. The separation of lounge, dining area and kitchen is perfectly balanced to create distinct areas without losing the open feel. On the first floor are four excellent bedrooms and two bathrooms with great views across the valley. The convenience of a large driveway, super useful garage/workshop, large garden are a combination of features not usually found in this popular and exciting area of Bristol. A great turn key home for a busy family.

The outside

This mature and pretty garden is split into three tiers. The top is bathed in sun all day, the perfect area for chilling out with the family. The middle section is the cottage garden, with highly productive fruit trees and a veggie patch for those pursuing The Good Life. The area closest to the house is stocked with flowers and shrubs, both pretty and aromatic throughout the summer with the scent of Jasmine to the fore.
