Wickham Grove is located within a lovely stretch of countryside to the south of Wickham Bishops, delightfully situated and surrounded by open countryside. Wickham Bishops has a wide range of amenities including a village hall, a library and general store with post office. There is also a sports field with a cricket club and tennis courts.

The town of Maldon lies to the southeast, providing a wide range of everyday facilities including a number of supermarkets, and is a mecca for water sports. Witham, to the west, also offers a good range of shops.
