There is also, within walking distance, a riding school, fishing lake, cafe and golf course. A regular bus service to to Eastbourne, Tunbridge Wells and Heathfield, inlcuding a school bus to Heathfield Community College. About 1 mile away is a village primary school in Maynards Green. Heathfield is about 2.4 miles distant and offers a wider selection of local shops and amenities including a Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Co-Op. More comprehensive amenities can be found in Tunbridge Wells, Eastbourne and Uckfield about 25 minutes drive.
DIRECTIONS: Horam centre is whether the shops are. There is one pedestrian crossing and just by this is a turning into Merrydown Way. Turn into this road and take the first turning on the left. At the end, before the sleeping policemen, there are high double wooden gates, this is the rear entrance to the property and you can park easily.
