The area is nice as it's all new and clean. The only thing that would be good to add is some shops close by.

Yes, I needed help with the wifi when I moved in and the building management was on the phone to me helping straight away and it was sorted within an hour.

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great distance from town centre, not too near to any busy areas but good connections, being near both Ipswich and Westerfield station. Also close to smaller convenience shops and bigger supermarkets! Parking availability for ourselves as residents is good but also lots of space for visitors which is great. Barely any traffic noise also.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We have had a few issues regarding heating and wifi however our property manager has been proactive in getting maintenance workers to attend to these problems.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We didn’t have much information/instruction or general communication regarding moving in prior to our move in date so this could have been helpful, It is reassuring to know now that our property manager is on hand for any issues but we could have been put in direct contact with her slightly earlier in the process to answer any questions etc!

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area has a Sainsbury's about 10 minutes' walk away, though the shopping centre closes at 6pm which can be inconvenient for after-work shopping. For more variety you'll need to travel further. The development has lovely views over the Medway, which is a real highlight. Transport links are good - the station is a 15-minute walk with fast trains to London, making it viable for commuters. The street itself backs onto a busy road, so there is noticeable traffic noise if you have the windows open. Paid allocated parking is available. Bin collections have been fine, and I haven't experienced any anti-social behaviour. The development is noticeably more upscale than the surrounding area - Chatham isn't the most affluent town, and there's quite a contrast between this new build and the local neighborhood. Depending on your perspective, this could be seen as good value for the spec of accommodation, or you might prefer a development that blends more naturally with its surroundings.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been quick to respond and resolve issues once they've been raised. Communication is friendly and action is taken promptly. However, many of the problems could have been prevented with better organization and proactive planning during the initial move-in process. Going forward, I hope the responsiveness continues and that processes become more streamlined.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I'd known there would be significant staff changes during the move-in process, which led to things being dropped or overlooked repeatedly. Even staying organized on my end wasn't enough - you really need to double and triple-check everything is actually being handled, as communication gaps were frequent. The windows are triple glazed so road noise isn't an issue with them closed, but be aware that in summer when you want the balcony door or windows open, traffic noise from the nearby road is quite noticeable. On the positive side, the Medway views are genuinely lovely and the train connections to London are reliable and fast. The development is noticeably more modern and upscale than the surrounding Chatham area, which creates quite a contrast - worth seeing the wider neighborhood beyond just the development itself before committing.

Blue water is just around the corner, lovely outdoor areas and feel a real sense of community. Even though it’s very new! It’s very quiet and peaceful!
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Promptly and even worked out of hours to resolve (ben)
