There are 2 lifts. Residents are mainly professional people or retired. Very quiet building. The communal areas were re done a few years ago and the lobby and hallways etc are like a good quality hotel. The building is art deco. It is 2 mins walk from Kensington High Street and about 5 mins to Nottinghill Gate. The ceilings in the flat are quite high and there are large windows with lots of light coming in. The entrance hall of the flat is quite large and the flat could be remodelled to make it into a one bedroom flat or a larger open space studio. It is currently a studio flat but very spacious. There are 3 large built in cupboards, 2 in the hall and one in the bathroom. I am selling only because I am leaving central London. I have been here very happily for 23 years. Council tax band D. EPC energy certificate C. 5 years ago the flat was valued at 600,000 and 2 years ago I was offered 525,000 and stupidly turned it down! Prices have fallen so much due to the economy and property market having shifted so much. Now the market value is approx 450,000 but I am selling at 425,000 as I want to sell quickly.
