Location
130 Hepburn Gardens is one of four detached houses in a private secluded cul-de-sac. It is elevated with an outlook over the Kinness Burn to the Hallow Hill on the opposite side.
The Ladebraes footpath runs immediately to the south. The footpath has a history stretching back to the Middle Ages and follows the route of an old mill lade which runs from the town centre all the way out into the countryside.
The property is about a mile from the West Port in the centre of St. Andrews. The Royal and Ancient Golf Club and the world-famous Old Course and are just beyond. St Andrews is renowned worldwide as the 'Home of Golf’. There are now eight golf courses under the management of the St Andrews Links Trust. The Old Course is arguably the most famous golf course in the world and next plays host to the Open Championship in 2027. There are many other golf courses in the area including the Craigtoun Course, St Andrews Bay, Castle Course and Kingsbarns.
St Andrews is also well known for its university which is one of the oldest in Britain, founded in 1413. The historic town has a good range of shops, hotels, restaurants, recreational and cultural facilities which include The Byre Theatre. Beyond St Andrews is the East Neuk of Fife, with a spectacular coastline which boasts fishing villages built around picturesque harbours and sandy unspoilt beaches.
Access to St Andrews by rail, road and air is good. Leuchars railway station (8 miles) is on the main Aberdeen to London line and provides a link to Dundee and Edinburgh. Edinburgh Airport, with a wide range of domestic and international flights, is 50 miles away and Dundee Airport is 15 miles.

From the centre of St Andrews head west on Hepburn Gardens (B939). Fork left at the mini-roundabout and continue west. The private road to 124, 126, 128 & 130 Hepburn Gardens is on the left, just before the wooded area. It has a stone wall and is diagonally opposite the turning into Lawhead Road.
Follow the road down the hill. No 130 Hepburn Gardens is the first house on the left.
