Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Excellent location for the station and local buses, and town centre is a 10 mins walk. Cinema and gym over the road. Lovely walks along the river Gipping. If you're an Ipswich Town fan then the location is a bonus. So far seems very quiet and the only noise tends to be from the sirens going up the hill over the other side of the river. Parking can an issue as there are additional bays you can rent however they are always empty despite being told they are all allocated. Nothing available for visitors. Neighbours are friendly and quiet, however there are a couple of student properties which do cause issues at times with noise. Overall very good living here.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Easy to log issues via the app. Beth responded quickly to an issue we had and it was sorted without any drama. Great service

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If you've lived in apartments for a long time then it can be hard getting used to three flights of stairs.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is generally convenient and pleasant to live in, with a good range of nearby shops, cafés and restaurants within walking distance. Public transport links are reliable and make commuting straightforward, and there are also some nice open spaces nearby for walks. The street itself is mostly quiet, with manageable traffic levels and regular bin collections. Parking can be limited at busier times, but overall it feels like a well-connected and comfortable place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management has generally been responsive and helpful when issues have been raised. Problems are acknowledged quickly and resolved within a reasonable timeframe, with clear communication throughout the process.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It’s a well-run and friendly development, so getting involved early and familiarising yourself with the building management systems and facilities makes settling in much easier.

The development is in a great location, just outside the main town but not too far with plenty of easy shops etc to get too.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We moved to a lovely 3 storey, 2 bed house (Dunlin) here a couple of weeks ago. For a town centre location it is very quiet. Our new neighbours are friendly and helpful and we are close to all local amenities within a few minutes' walk. The house is clean and warm and we enjoy the views across the river and east towards the historic waterfront area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes - there's a residents' portal where we can log requests for maintenance attention. It works very well.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The free 150mbps broadband and ethernet cabling is very good and easy to access. It would have been helpful to have had more information about EV charging within the development.

    Manager's response

Thank you very much for your detailed and thoughtful review. We’re pleased to hear you’re enjoying your new home, the peaceful setting, and the local surroundings, and that any initial teething issues have been resolved quickly and efficiently. Your feedback on broadband and EV charging information is also appreciated and will be taken on board. I’ll be sure to share your kind comments with Robbie, Katy, and Bethany, who will be delighted to hear them. We hope you continue to enjoy the development as it comes to life over the coming months.
